1. GENERAL

The precision NC lathe, CINCOM E32, is the Citizen’s latest NC lathe accomplished in pursuit of high pre­
cision and productivity.
The CINCOM E32 has a turning function which provides a stable working precision by means of a guide
bushing mechanism, and a compound working function which provides a variety of secondary machinings such
as cross drilling and milling at need, thus allowing easy machining of high precision workpieces in complex shapes.
The operator’s manual concerns handling of the machine to exhibit’fully the performance of Cincom E32.
Before operating the machine, well understand and assimilate the description in the manual to operate the
machine safely and correctly.

2. PRECAUTIONS IN READING OPERATOR’S MANUAL

@ When handling Cincom E32, make it a rule first of all to proceed work safely. For this purpose, observe not
only the matters described in Chapter || ‘““Safety’’ of the manual but also all the precautions in the text.

@ Some of the description concerning the NC unit in this manual may overlap with that of the manual for NC
unit. In such a Case, retain the description of the present manual.

@ Some of the description for operating the NC unit singly may not be included in the present manual. In such
a case, use the manual for NC unit together.
@ Some of functions described in the operation manual for NC unit may not be provided on Cincom E32.
