-A Notified authority. -The State Government ~ay, ~y notification in

rson shall be eligible for appoin~ent as. ~ert~hser inspector under this
brder, unless he possess~s the Iollowin~ quahft~ahons, n?mely:-
(1) ~aduate in agriculture or science with chemistry as one of the
subjects, from a recogrused University, and . ..
(2) training or experience in the quality control of ferhhsers and
working in the State or Central Department of Agriculture.]
3[27-AA. Regular training of Fertiliser Inspectors. - Every Fertiliser
Ins~or shall undergo training after every three years in the Central
Fertiliser Quality Control and Training Institute or any Regional Fertiliser
Quality Control Laboratory at Mumbai, Kalyani or Che~ai. J
4[27-B. Qualifications
for appointment of inspectors for 5[bio-fertiliser,
organic fertiliser and non-edible de-oiled cake Iertilizer] as the case may
be. -No person shall be eligible for appointment as inspector of bio-fertiliser
and organic fertiliser under this Order unless he may possess the following
qualifications, namely: -
(1) graduate in agriculture or science with chemistry/microbiology as
one of the subjects; and
(2) training or e~rience in the field of qualig, control of 5[bio-fertiliser/
organic fertiliser/non-edible de-oiled cake fertilizer] as the case may be.]
28. Powers of inspectors.-(1) An inspector may, with a view to securing
compliance with this Order,- •
(a) ~uire any manufacturer, [importer], pool handling agency,.

w~olesale dealer or retail dealer to R!ve any information in his possession
respect to the manufacture, 6LimportJ, storage and disposal of any
£rtilise~.
e r manufactured or, in any manner handled by him;
(b) draw samJ?,les of any fertiliser in accordance with the procedure of
drawal of samples laid down in Schedule II; • •

~ [(ba) draw samples of any bio-fertilisers in accordance with the
pr 7 ure ~f drawal of samples laid down in Schedule m: • .
