Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Role:
• To Participate in a team of professional technicians carrying out maintenance activities on Static
equipment in order to assure the maximum equipment availability and reliability respecting all
internal maintenance procedures, best-practices, budgetary targets and Coral FLNG S.A. HSE Policy.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of maintenance activities on all Static
mechanical equipment, including but not limited to: Pressure vessels; Piping; Valves, Pressure
safety valves, Heat exchangers Coolers; Heaters, cryogenic installations, Carnes, Steel structure,
Offloading arms, mobile mechanical tools, filters, strainers, waste management equipment and
emergency standby equipment;
• Responsible to execute and participate in supervisions of welding repairs, fabrications and temporary
repairs of static equipment;
• Champion company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and good
housekeeping; reports or corrects unsafe conditions or practices;
• Ensure that maintenance work is performed in an efficient, safe and economical manner and that
maintenance crews are fully productive every day;
• Ensure the integrity of all Static equipment are maintained in accordance with Integrity Management
Plan;
• Coordinate with Maintenance Technicians for them to evolve in their jobs and guarantee quality and
quantity of the levels of service provided;
• Participate in developing and updating maintenance plans, shutdown plans and maintenance work
instructions;
• Participate in planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, based on
a sound knowledge of Operation and Maintenance expectations, policies, budgets and strategy;
• Participate with Maintenance Supervisor to troubleshoot all machinery equipment chronic problems
using a structured methodology to enhance equipment performance and reliability;

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
• Prepare comprehensive Maintenance Work Instructions (MWI) for each Static equipment Mechanical
asset, including detailed testing, spare parts, tools, craft and estimated work interval;
• Participate with Supervision of Mechanical Supervisor to develop, plan and execute Mechanical and
Machinery scope of work for turnarounds whether planned or opportunistic and prepare the required
resources;
• Conduct Toolbox Talk (TBT) to assure that the hands-on craft understand the objectives of the work
assignment and can implement all PTW precautions;
• Support in Planning the execution of work orders issued through CMMS;
• Review work orders feedback to support Mechanical Supervisor to close out work orders in CMMS;
• Participate in developing maintenance budget for his discipline;
• Participate in the mechanical works carried out by contractors and vendors and support Mechanical
Supervisor to sign off upon completion;
• Lead the maintenance workforce and provide immediate on-site expertise to minimize equipment
downtime;
• Participate in setting stock levels, prepare relevant specifications, evaluate offers technically and
support the procurement cycle;
• Ensure that received material and spare parts comply with applicable technical specifications;
• Ensure availability and sound condition of special tools;
• Supervise machining, fabrication and repair activities carried out at the facility’s workshop or at
external workshop;
• Issue inspection and repair reports for each equipment overhaul and major activities;
• Perform additional tasks, as required by the nature, specificities, and operational requirements of
the Company.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum 2 years field experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
