2. A Mauling Incident occurred on or about 7 o’clock in the evening on November 5,


2023 at the entertainment bar located on Brgy. Luayon, Makilala, North Cotabato.

3. BACKGROUND/BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:

Mr. Thor C. Ak reported that, about 7 o’clock in the evening on November 5,


2023, Mr. Thanos A. Nos and Mr. Iron A. Man were drinking at an entertainment bar
when Mr. Man, attacked the victim with an empty bottle, causing superficial wounds.
The suspect fled outside and disappeared. Responding police officers arrived to
investigate the case, recovering the weapon and inviting a witness. The suspect
returned to the scene and peacefully surrendered to the police officers, giving the
brass knuckle used in the attack.

Princess Diana testified that, while they were drinking with his friends beside
the victim and suspect’s table, she heard the victim say "Imong mama borikat maskin
kinsang laki ra kauban!" then the suspect struck the victim with an empty bottle on
the head and body. She added, after falling, the suspect punched the victim once in the
face with a brass knuckle. Based on the medical certificate issued by Dr. Who Wan,
attending physician at Makilala Medical Specialist, the victim suffered a lacerated
head wound; contusions on his face; and abrasions on his forearm, body, legs, and
feet.
