Executive Summary:

This report documents my valuable learning and experience during my internship at Shaheen Precast,
a well-established precast concrete company located in Multan, Pakistan. During my time at the
company, I had the opportunity to work across multiple departments including Production, Finance,
Human Resources, Quality Control, and Marketing. Each department plays a crucial role in the day-to-
day functioning and long-term success of the organization. I had the chance to observe how different
departments coordinate with one another to meet operational goals. Working in these departments
allowed me to gain exposure to the corporate world and provided a practical understanding of the
knowledge I had gained during my academic studies.
Although there is a notable difference between the theoretical knowledge gained at the institution and
its practical implementation, the learnings from my academic background proved to be beneficial at
every step of my internship. This report provides an overview of the different departments I had the
opportunity to work in, highlighting their main functions and internal processes. Furthermore, I
conducted a SWOT analysis to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Shaheen
Precast. This analysis helped me understand the company’s current position in the industry and the
internal and external factors that can impact its future performance.
Finally, based on my observations and experiences, I provided several recommendations for potential
improvements within the organization. This internship experience encompasses my reflections on
various aspects including work management, decision-making, leadership techniques, teamwork, and
overall organizational management. It has been a valuable and enriching learning journey that allowed
me to enhance both my professional skills and personal development, bridging the gap between
classroom knowledge and real-world application.

Overview of Organization:
a) Brief History:
With the intention of becoming a top producer of premium precast and pre-stressed concrete products,
Shaheen Precast Associates was founded in Multan, Pakistan, in 2005. Professionals from the industry
founded the business with the goal of satisfying the region's increasing need for strong, effective, and
reasonably priced building materials.
Shaheen Precast has established a solid reputation for providing a variety of concrete solutions over the
years, such as PCPS (Precast Pre-stressed Concrete Sleepers), girders, slabs, RCC pipes, boundary walls,
tuff tiles, pavers, and curb stones. Modern equipment and knowledgeable employees at their production
facility, which is situated at 23 km Khanewal Road, Qadir Pur Rawan, Multan, guarantee consistency
and quality in each product.
The business has established itself as a trustworthy partner in the construction sector by successfully
supplying materials to a number of significant clients and projects, including DG Cement, Adams
Housing Scheme, and Mehmood Textile Mills.
Shaheen Precast Associates, led by Managing Director Ch. Rasheed Hussain and Director Ch. Naveed
Akhtar, is dedicated to quality, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth while innovating and
expanding its product offerings.

b) Introduction of the organization:

Shaheen Precast Associates was founded in 2005. The company's production facility is located at 23
km Khanewal Road, Qadir Pur Rawan, Multan, while its head office is located at House No. 159, A-
Block Model Town, Multan. Shaheen Precast Associates, which has been in the construction business

6
for more than 18 years, has created a thorough organizational structure that includes divisions for
production, sales and marketing, quality control, research and development, administration, and human
resources. The company can effectively manage its operations and provide its customers with high-
quality products thanks to this structure.
The business provides a wide variety of precast concrete products that can be used in commercial,
industrial, residential, and public settings. Precast Concrete Parabolic Segments (PCPS), girders, slabs,

using business practices to inspire and implement solutions to economic challenges. Their vision
focuses on providing quality, economical products with an emphasis on safety, compatibility with
other systems, and alternative designs that facilitate quick construction and pleasant finishing.

c) Policy of the organization:

I observed the following policies been practiced in SHAHEEN PRECAST ASSOCIATES. I came to
know them while talking to MR Zulfiqaar ( Operations Head) , MR Aslam ( Manager Quality Control)

• Health and Safety Policy:

The health and safety of its employees and site staff are top priorities for Shaheen Precast Associates.
Because precast concrete production is physically demanding and potentially dangerous, the company
makes sure that safety procedures are strictly followed. Employees receive frequent briefings on
machine and site safety, safety training, and personal protective equipment (PPE). To reduce workplace
accidents and occupational hazards, the company has a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe practices.

• Employee Package Policy:

The company values its employees and provides a competitive benefits package for a range of positions.
Monthly pay, overtime pay, performance-based bonuses, and occasionally site worker accommodations
or transportation are all included in this. In order to enhance their abilities and progress within the
organization, employees are also provided with training and development opportunities.

• Operational Support Policy:

To guarantee that every department runs smoothly, Shaheen Precast Associates has created a robust
operational support policy. This entails keeping lines of communication open between departments,
offering modern equipment and tools, and making sure that raw materials and logistics are available on
time. To resolve any production or delivery schedule bottlenecks, regular coordination meetings are
conducted.

• Quality Assurance Policy:

The company adheres to a rigorous quality assurance policy because precast concrete products must
meet certain technical requirements. At various points during the production process, each product is
put through quality checks to make sure it complies with structural standards and customer
specifications. Additionally, where appropriate, the business follows ISO-compliant procedures.

7
• Environmental Policy:
Knowing how industrial operations affect the environment, the company uses eco-friendly practices,
water conservation, and waste management wherever feasible. To comply with local environmental
regulations, efforts are made to reduce noise pollution, properly dispose of concrete waste, and use dust
suppression techniques.

• Customer Service and After-Sales Policy:

Through regular communication, project updates, and on-time delivery, Shaheen Precast Associates
guarantees client satisfaction. To guarantee the proper installation and functionality of its precast
products, the company also provides after-sales support, particularly in large-scale commercial projects.

d) Competitors:

Knowing from the company’s employees and by doing my own research i came up with
the following competitors of the company:

• SKB Tiles & Concrete Product

• Pak Nation Crete

• Banu Mukhtar Concrete

• Ammar Precast PVT. LTD

8. Customer Service Department:

Shaheen Precast Customer Service Department is in charge of handling customer correspondence. It
responds to inquiries, settles grievances, and guarantees general satisfaction, all of which contribute to
the development of solid, enduring partnerships.

e) Comments on Organizational Structure:

As per my observation the roles and responsibilities are well defined and effectively
departmentalized throughout Shaheen Precast organizational structure. In order to foster a feeling
of purpose and direction, each department is given certain goals that are closely related to the
organization's overarching aim. The hierarchical structure facilitates efficient workflow and
communication, guaranteeing that work is completed effectively at all levels. High levels of
customer satisfaction and consistent product quality are also a result of the efficient management
of interdepartmental coordination.

Plan of Internship Program:

• I did my internship at Shaheen Precast, which is located in Multan. The organization consists
of several departments including the 24x7 Operations Department, Marketing Department, HR
Department, Finance Department, IT Department, and others, all working collectively to meet
the company's objectives.

10
• I started my internship on 10th June 2024, and it ended on 24th July 2024, completing a total
duration of six weeks.
• I got my training majorly in the Operations Department, but I was also introduced to the
workings of the Marketing, IT, and Finance Departments during the course of my internship.

Training Program:
• I worked mostly in the Operations Department during my internship at Shaheen Precast, where
I was supervised by three seasoned experts who constantly gave me advice, encouraged me,
and helped me comprehend the real-world aspects of company operations. Because it exposed
me to the real production and distribution cycle of the company's products, this department was
crucial to my educational process.
• Firstly, I was asked to closely observe and understand the Quality Control process. This was an
essential part of the production cycle, as the company puts great emphasis on delivering quality
products to its clients. My responsibility, along with my fellow team members, was to monitor
how the finished products were inspected after they were produced. For that purpose several
chemicals were used to take a look upon the quality of the product.
• We had to make sure that the materials utilized matched the company's expectations and the
clients' requirements, as well as that the quality criteria were fulfilled. I discovered how minor
flaws can affect the batch's credibility as a whole and how crucial attention to detail is in this
process. The entire process was very professional, and I was encouraged to ask questions, which
made it easier for me to understand the technical aspects of quality management.Apart from
this, on most Saturdays, I was instructed to visit the Production Unit, where I spent the day with
the Production Supervisor. Observing the ongoing manufacturing processes, the division of
labor among teams, and the accomplishment of daily production goals were the primary aims.
I gained knowledge about how production teams deal with daily obstacles, how labor and
resources are organized, and how timelines are controlled. I was able to see how intricate and
effective the production process can be with the correct systems in place thanks to this practical
experience. Additionally, I realized how crucial cooperation and teamwork are in production
settings.
• Additionally, I was assigned to the Sales and Marketing Department, where I investigated how
the organization creates revenue and sustains enduring connections with its customers. I learned
about the marketing tactics the business does to draw in new customers, particularly on social
media and digital channels. I was given the responsibility of helping with the company's social
media marketing because of my age and interest in digital platforms. I saw how the business
posted updates about their new goods, sales, and client projects on Facebook and Instagram. It
made it quite evident to me how digital marketing functions in the industrial sector and how, in
order to grow their clientele, even conventional firms today mostly depend on their online
presence.
• I learned the internal procedures that are followed before placing an order, such as getting
approvals, budget checking, and fulfilling documentation requirements. I also observed how
delivery schedules are maintained and how critical it is to avoid any delay, as it directly affects
the production schedule. The officer was kind enough to involve me in discussions and even
allowed me to help with some follow-up calls and record-keeping tasks.
• I was also given the chance to observe how laborers and employees on the ground worked
during operational hours. The objective was to assess their efficiency, discipline, and how well
they followed the safety and security standards set by the company. I was deeply impressed by
how well-structured and organized everything was, and how each employee knew their role
and responsibilities. I discovered that creating a work environment that safeguards each

11
employee's physical and mental well-being is more important for workplace safety than simply
donning gloves or helmets.
• I had the chance to meet the company's finance manager near the end of my internship. He
organized a brief meeting for interns to describe the operations of the finance division of a
manufacturing business such as Shaheen Precast. He talked about how financial reports are put
together, how sales and expenses are tracked, and how budgets are created. I became aware of
the intimate connection between academic learning and the actual business world throughout
this session. Additionally, I was tasked with working on Microsoft Excel, where I got to
experience sorting and managing financial data using the VLOOKUP formula, a technique I
had acquired in college but had never used in reality.
Following are the critical workings of the operations department, of which I was only allowed to
observe

• In addition to these primary duties, I had little but useful experience in a number of other areas.
Knowing how the business's internal portal system operates was one of the most important
things. I was told to pay close attention to how the corporation documented and logged each
and every sale on this platform. This made it easier for me to comprehend how companies
systematically monitor their sales. The product type, quantity sold, delivery status, and
customer information were all included in the sales record. I gained an understanding of the
significance of preserving accurate data for reporting and analysis by observing how this was
handled.
• I was also introduced to the customer service portal, which was another fascinating area. This
part of the system was made to deal with client inquiries and complaints. Each complaint was
recorded with the customer's information and the type of problem. I had the opportunity to
watch how the employees addressed these issues, from determining the problem to providing
fixes and conducting follow-up. This made it easier for me to see how businesses gain the trust
of their customers by providing prompt, courteous service.
• I was also allowed to attend a high-level meeting of the top-tier managers. Although I was only
allowed to observe for a short duration, it was a good learning experience to see how strategic
decisions were discussed — particularly related to improving marketing efforts and reaching
out to new clients.
• I also witnessed the employment of MIS devices, which are Chinese-imported tablet-like
devices used for interdepartmental communication. These guaranteed timely completion of
duties and maintained departmental coordination.

Last but not least, I was expressly told not to speak or guide any production staff without the
presence of any directly because doing so might be against the company's safety regulations. I
learned how seriously businesses take workplace safety by watching them work from a safe
distance.

Reflective Journal:

Week 1 (10 June - 15 June) at Shaheen Precast:

My internship at Shaheen Precast began on Monday, June 10, 2024, and lasted for the first week. Sunday,
June 9th, was off because it was a weekly holiday. My mentors, coworkers, and employees were
presented to me throughout this first week. Although I wasn't initially given any technical
responsibilities, I was urged to observe and comprehend the organization's professional atmosphere.

12
My mentor told me to pay attention to how people communicate at work, how jobs are delegated, how
operations are run, and how the culture is organized as a whole.
I was informed that I may contact my mentor at any moment if I had any concerns or observed anything
unusual, and he would help me to grasp the situation. Later in the week, I started to watch how experts
update and submit reports via the company's site using Microsoft Excel. I was merely asked to watch
how reports are formatted and how data is arranged and handled within the department; I wasn't asked
to work on it at this time. This week's focus was on assimilating the workplace and the digital framework
of the business's processes.

Week 2 (17 June - 22 June) at Shaheen Precast:

I had a busier week in week two. Due to the weekend, Sunday, June 16th, was off as well. I was
eventually handed my first few duties and chores during this week. My introduction to Microsoft Excel's
VLOOKUP function was one of the week's main delights. Although I had heard about Excel formulae
previously, I had never seen them used in practice until now. It made me realize how powerful
automation is and how formulae may improve the accuracy and efficiency of data handling.
This week, I also received a lot of assistance from my coworkers. They gave me instructions on how to
properly use the VLOOKUP formula, move data between sheets, and use it to locate particular numbers.
These quick training and advice were really helpful. In addition to Excel, I gained knowledge of the
organization's internal procedures, including how raw materials are dispersed, acquired, quality-
checked, and then sent on for manufacturing. All in all, the week was filled with practical instruction
and technical exposure.

Week 3 (24 June- 29 June) at Shaheen Precast:

June 23rd, Sunday, was off. This week got off to a more lively and enthusiastic start as the organization
formally greeted us with a little event that resembled a welcome party. Now, the other interns and I were
assigned to various departments. I was assigned to the operational department, which became the
primary focus of my internship, as I previously stated.
This week, I was introduced to the IFERROR formula in addition to learning the VLOOKUP formula
in greater detail. I had to use the VLOOKUP and IFERROR formulas on three Excel sheets that I was
provided for practice, then present the results to my mentor for approval. Errors that may arise when
using other formulas are addressed with the IFERROR formula.
This week's inspirational speech by our CEO stands out as one of the highlights. He offered us wise
counsel regarding the working world. "Everyone in an organization working with you is not your friend,
and everyone against you is not your enemy," he added, and that statement has been with me ever since.
Focus on your task, stay motivated, and avoid trying too hard to cheer up or depress other people if you
want to succeed. This had a significant effect on my thought process.
This week, I also learned about the Customer Complaints Portal. I was showed how clients file their
complaints, how each one contains comprehensive information, and how to respond to them. I had the
opportunity to watch this procedure in action and learned how tickets (TTs) are closed when an issue
has been fixed.

13
Week 4 (1 July – 6 July) at Shaheen Precast:
This week was a little different because we took a midweek break from July 3rd to July 5th, 2024, in
observance of Eid-ul-Adha. As usual, Sunday, June 30th, was also off. In spite of the little week, I
gained a lot of knowledge.

I was tasked with getting in touch with drivers and transport officials to make sure that deliveries were
getting to clients in good shape. I was instructed to verify if there were any issues or disputes between
the transport crew and the client. Aside from that, I kept working on the Customer Complaints Portal,
which was my prior responsibility. I gained a lot of confidence and improved my communication
abilities this week. I made about 70 calls a day, which really enhanced my capacity for multitasking
and professional conversation.
Multitasking is crucial in the workplace and is one of the most important aspects of any expanding
company, according to my mentor.

Week 5 (8 July – 13 July) at Shaheen Precast:

July 7th was a day off. I kept working on the same projects this week, such as following up on
transportation and resolving complaints. But now I was also asked to go to internal meetings. I was
there mostly to snap pictures of the meeting, but I also had the opportunity to see how business
meetings are run.

The idea of recording the main points discussed and decisions taken during meetings in the form of
"Meeting Minutes" was presented to me. Seeing how every detail is recorded and preserved as an
official document for future use was interesting. I discovered how crucial it is to keep thorough and
precise records of organizational choices.

Week 6 (15 July – 20 July) at Shaheen Precast:

The most engaging week of my internship was the last one. The 14th of July was a day off. We had the
opportunity to meet down with managers from different departments this week and ask them questions.
It was an enjoyable and highly educational experience.
During a special Independence Day celebration at Shaheen Precast on August 14, I received my
internship certificate and a thank-you gift from the firm in the shape of water bottles, keychains, and
bags. As an intern, this event gave me a genuine sense of appreciation.

To commemorate the conclusion of our internship, a cake was cut at a brief parting ceremony. At the
time, I was overcome with emotion and pride. Looking back, I saw how much I had changed from
having a decent level of confidence in my ability to communicate to being able to speak easily with
supervisors, transport officers, and consumers.
My internship was well summed up this past week. It involved more than just tasks; it involved
development, education, and self-assurance building. I am appreciative of Shaheen Precast for this
fantastic chance.

Critical Analysis:
• Introduction to Computer:

The subject of Introduction to Computer, taught by Sir Liaqat Javed, provided a foundation for
understanding the role of technology in organizations. At Shaheen Precast, I witnessed the practical
application of computer skills in various areas. Proficiency in computer applications such as word
processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software allowed me to efficiently create reports, analyze
data, and deliver presentations. This knowledge proved essential for effective communication and data-
driven decision-making within the organization. Additionally, Shaheen Precast employees extensively

16
used computer systems and software for day-to-day operations, data analysis, and communication,
further highlighting the practical relevance of this subject.

• Management Sciences:

Under the guidance of Sir Farhan Azmat Mir, the subject of Management Sciences equipped me with
the knowledge of managerial principles and decision-making techniques. At Shaheen Precast, I
observed the practical application of management concepts in various scenarios. Managers at Shaheen
Precast employed management principles to set goals, coordinate activities, motivate employees, and
ensure efficient resource allocation. Additionally, the implementation of effective planning, organizing,
leading, and controlling mechanisms within the organization demonstrated the practical relevance of
the concepts learned in Management Sciences. By understanding management principles, I gained
insights into the dynamics of organizational operations and the importance of effective leadership and
decision-making in achieving organizational goals.

• Marketing Management:

Dr. Moeed's course on Marketing Management focused on marketing strategies, customer acquisition,
and brand management. At Shaheen Precast, I witnessed the practical implementation of marketing

SWOT Analysis:
Strengths:
• Experienced and Skilled Staff:
The crew of the organization is what makes the organization successful as per me, working at observed
that the crew of Shaheen Precast is one of its greatest assets. In addition to their experience, I observed
crew has received technical training, which aids in upholding high standards in field operations and
manufacture. Their ability to manage projects effectively demonstrates their knowledge.

• Use of MIS and Internal Systems:

The business uses Management Information Systems (MIS) effectively to maintain organization and
streamline processes. This facilitates data management, performance tracking on a daily basis, and
overall decision-making.

• Flexibility in Meeting Client Needs:

As per my observation of organization, Shaheen Precast specializes in customizing its products to meet
the demands of its clients. Their ability to offer customized solutions sets them apart from many other
companies in the industry that only offer conventional products.

• Strong Work Ethics and Professional Culture:

The organization follows a clear ethical code, and the work environment is quite professional. From
top management to ground staff, everyone seems committed to transparency, punctuality, and quality.

Weaknesses:
• Low Brand Visibility Outside the Local Market:
Even though the company is well-regarded locally, it’s not very well-known in other cities or regions.
This limits its reach when it comes to attracting bigger or more varied projects.

• Reliance on Manual Work in Some Areas

While many things are automated, there are still some tasks being done manually, especially when it
comes to reporting and data handling. This can slow things down and lead to mistakes.

20
• Limited Marketing Efforts:
Marketing is mostly done through traditional channels, and there’s very little digital presence. In
today’s competitive world, that’s a bit of a disadvantage because people mostly search online now.

Opportunities:
• Growing Demand for Infrastructure:
Infrastructure development is growing fast in Pakistan, both publicly and privately. This creates a
great chance for Shaheen Precast to expand its reach and take on more projects.

• Building a Digital Presence:

With some effort in digital marketing—like a website, social media, and online ads—the company can
increase visibility and attract new clients who wouldn’t otherwise hear about them.

• Adding More Products and Innovation:

There’s a lot of room to diversify their product line and maybe even introduce new, innovative
solutions. This could help them serve a wider variety of clients and stand out in the market.

• Collaborations and Partnerships:

Partnering with real estate developers, construction firms, or government bodies could open doors to
long-term contracts and steady business. It’s a smart way to grow without overextending.

Threats:
• Rising Costs and Economic Uncertainty:
With inflation and fluctuating material prices, managing costs is becoming harder. These economic
factors can eat into profits and affect planning.

• High Industry Competition:

There are many competitors in the precast concrete space, and some offer similar services at lower
prices. Staying ahead requires constant innovation and maintaining quality.

• Delays in Public Sector Projects:

Many projects depend on government decisions. If these are delayed due to political reasons or red
tape, it can affect the company’s cash flow and project timelines.

21
• Keeping Up with New Technologies:
Technology in construction is evolving quickly. If the company doesn’t keep up, it could fall behind
competitors who adopt new and more efficient systems.

Conclusion:
My time as an intern with Shaheen Precast was enlightening and really beneficial. It provided me with
a realistic view of how a precast concrete product manufacturing company operates. Working in such a
setting enabled me, as a business and finance student, to make the connection between what I had
learned in school and actual business operations. Almost every day from the first week till the finish, I
gained new knowledge. A company called Shaheen Precast is dedicated to providing the construction
sector with premium precast concrete solutions. Its processes are well-organized, its workforce is well-
managed, and its working culture is positive. The staff at the organization is friendly and the atmosphere
is professional. Everyone demonstrated commitment and collaboration, from the industrial workers to
the upper executives. For me, this further streamlined the learning process.

I had the opportunity to witness several departments throughout my internship, including supply chain,
HR, production, finance, and quality control. I observed how crucial coordination and teamwork are in
an organization where everything is interconnected. For instance, production is delayed if raw supplies
are not delivered on time, which impacts client delivery. I learned from this how every department
contributes to the company's success.

The use of Management Information Systems (MIS) to improve work management was among the most
significant things I learned. MIS is used by Shaheen Precast to manage staff data, record sales, and track
production specifics. This saves time and minimizes errors. I also observed how the business operates
in accordance with the law and moral principles. It was evident that honesty, quality, and client
happiness are important to Shaheen Precast. But I also identified a few places that require work.
Although the business is performing well locally, it still has to raise its profile in other cities. Social
media and digital marketing are hardly used at all. This is a serious flaw in the modern world.

I can say that my internship was about more than just witnessing; it was also about learning how real-
world firms thrive. It gave me more self-assurance, enhanced my ability to communicate, and helped
me comprehend how theory is put into practice. I now have a better idea of what my future profession
will entail. I think the skills and information I acquired at Shaheen Precast will benefit me in my
academic and professional endeavours for years to come.

Recommendations for Shaheen Precast:

I had the opportunity to work in several departments and get a close-up look at Shaheen Precast
throughout my internship. In addition to learning a lot of helpful things, I also identified some areas
where the business is now succeeding and others where it could perform better. I would like to provide
the following suggestions that could aid Shaheen Precast in expanding and enhancing its operations
more effectively, based on my own experience, observations, and comprehension of the organization's
activities.

• Improve Communication Between Departments:

22
The communication breakdown across departments was one of the main issues I observed during my
internship. Infrequent communication occasionally led to miscommunications or delays. For instance,
there was occasionally a lack of clear communication between the marketing and production teams,
which led to misunderstandings over customer expectations and delivery schedules. To keep everyone
informed, I advise the business to set up frequent interdepartmental meetings or briefings. Establishing
a framework that allows departments to communicate progress and updates can enhance teamwork and
cut down on needless mistakes or delays.

• Invest in Employee Training and Development:

Although Shaheen Precast has a diligent workforce, many workers—particularly those in lower or mid-
level roles—need training in contemporary methods, equipment, and communication approaches. All
staff levels should participate in regular training sessions to increase their confidence and knowledge.
In addition to technical skills pertaining to the operation of machinery, quality control instruments, or
project management software, these trainings may cover soft skills like collaboration, leadership,
communication, and customer service. This will lower employee turnover, boost job happiness, and
enhance employee performance.

• Upgrade Technology and Equipment:

Modern machinery and technology are crucial for a business in the precast concrete sector. I saw that
several of the production-related equipment and tools were antiquated. Upgrading the technology might
speed up procedures, lower error rates, and enhance the general calibre of the outputs, even if the crew
handled the work well. Purchasing new equipment and software will also improve productivity and
safety in the workplace.

• Focus More on Marketing and Branding:

Working in the marketing division, I observed that the business mostly used conventional marketing
strategies like word-of-mouth and existing clientele. Having a strong online presence is crucial in
today's digital environment. Shaheen Precast ought to put more effort into digital marketing techniques
like search engine optimization (SEO), social media advertising, and a frequently updated website.
Using social media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram to display finished projects, customer
reviews, and product information can assist draw in new clients and provide a polished image of the
business to the public.

• Develop a Strong Human Resource Management System:

The HR department is doing a good job, but there is still need for improvement in the way that personnel
records, performance reviews, and hiring procedures are handled. In order to manage personnel data,
attendance, payroll, and performance reviews, I advise putting in place a suitable HR Management
System . Additionally, a well-organized hiring and onboarding procedure will aid new hires in better
comprehending the requirements and work culture. To encourage staff, the business might also
implement incentive and recognition schemes.

• Introduce a Customer Feedback System:

Any organization must have a thorough understanding of the needs and satisfaction levels of its
customers. There isn't a formal procedure in place right now to get client feedback when a project is
finished. I recommend that the business create a survey or feedback form for clients to complete
following the completion of a job. This will assist Shaheen Precast in recognizing its advantages and
pinpointing its shortcomings. Additionally, marketing materials can employ customer feedback to
demonstrate the company's performance and legitimacy.

23
• Enhance Quality Control Measures:
Products from Shaheen Precast are already of a high calibre. Its market position can be further
strengthened, though, with a few little enhancements to quality control. To guarantee that every product
satisfies the required standards, for instance, regular checks, the use of standardized checklists, and
increased documentation of the inspection process are all necessary. For the quality control personnel
to carry out their duties more efficiently, they should also be given modern equipment and training.

• Strengthen Financial Management Practices:

Although the finance department manages everyday financial operations well, accuracy and openness
can be increased by implementing contemporary accounting software and planning tools. The
management may make better decisions with the use of accurate budgeting, cost analysis, and
forecasting. Additionally, regular internal audits can assist in maintaining account organization and
spotting financial problems early.

• Promote a Culture of Innovation and Feedback:

Employee suggestions for enhancing goods, procedures, or customer service should be welcomed.
Open-door policy, weekly brainstorming sessions, or a suggestion box can all contribute to the
development of a creative and upbeat workplace culture. Employees are more likely to remain engaged
and make more valuable contributions when they believe their perspectives are valued.

• Work on Environmental and Safety Measures:

Given Shaheen Precast involvement in the manufacture of concrete, which calls for large equipment
and supplies, safety regulations and environmental preservation should receive more attention. Accident
risk can be decreased by offering safety training, making sure that protective gear is available, and
posting safety instructions at strategic locations around the workplace. The business should also think
about how to control its environmental impact and cut waste by using sustainable techniques.
