Task 1

1. Calculate in separate column average Gross sales July’13- Dec’13


for each product
2. Calculate average Gross sales in Jan-Feb’14 for each product
3. Sort the table according to average Gross sales in July’13 –
Dec’13 in descending order
4. Calculate change (growth or decline) in % of average Jan-Feb’14
vs. average July’13- Dec’13 for each product

Task 2
1. From the given data in excel file „task 2” make 2 charts as in
example bellow, keeping the same formatting & color coding

2. Calculate sales value in YTD periods (Year-to-date is a period,


starting from the beginning of the current year, and continuing
up to the present day, in this example Jan-May’13 and Jan-
May’14)
3. Calculate change (growth or decline) in % for sales value of each
segment in YTD’14 vs.YTD’13
4. Insert the charts in PowerPoint slide and write 1-sentence
analytical comment about the data in the charts

Task 3
 Use (Demonstrate) any 3 Excel functions of choice, which has not
been used in task 1& 2, using data of Task 1
