Key Courses
• English Composition I (ENG101)* *Key courses must be completed before
the end of Session I of the semester in which
you are applying for candidacy.
• Mathematics of Medical Dosages (MAT106)*
or Medical Dosage Calculation with Pre-Algebra Note:
Transferring Science courses SCB203 & SCB204
(MAT 105)* are valid for 7 years only.

• Human Anatomy and Physiology I (SCB203)* Admission into the clinical phase is very
competitive; 100 top students are accepted
each semester based on a GPA ranking system.
• General Psychology (SSY101)*
Additional Program Requirements
**Must be completed before the end of
• First Year Seminar for Health Sciences (HSF 90)**

Take Your TEAS Exam


•Must be taken through ATI’s Remote Proctoring: dates and information are available on the Licensed Practical Nurse
Program's Website
•The ATI TEAS Exam must be taken remotely by ATI; in-person exam results will NOT be accepted.
•ATI TEAS results must be submitted to [email protected] by May 5, 2025.
•Must achieve a minimum score of 50% on each of four exam sections
•Must achieve overall score in the Proficient Level (58.7%)
•Students only have 2 attempts to take the TEAS Exam for the Licensed Practical Nurse Program.

• Candidacy Application available in Spring Session I only.
• If eligible, apply for candidacy by April 21, 2025
• Obtain and submit Candidacy Form to the Health Sciences Department: [email protected]
