I’m someone who sees design as a way to solve real problems and make life

About Me better; one idea, one sketch, one prototype at a time. With a background in
mechanical engineering and industrial design, I love blending technical thinking
with creativity to build things that are not just functional, but meaningful.

I get excited by challenges and genuinely enjoy figuring things out. When
something sparks my interest, I dive deep, I believe that kind of curiosity and
dedication is where real innovation comes from. I thrive in collaborative
environments, especially when there’s room for friendly competition, shared
learning, and mutual support.

Outside of design, I’m into cooking, gaming, fitness, and video editing,
all creative outlets that keep me curious and constantly experimenting.
I’m always learning, whether it’s improving my CAD skills, exploring new
tools, or understanding how people interact with design.

I DESIGN TO EXPLORE, TO EVOLVE,

AND TO MAKE THINGS THAT MATTER.
CAPSTONE PROJECT
To be Continued
FSAE Design
Brought important mechanical parts to life using CAD and Mechanical
Engineering knowledge capturing the complex mechanics and unique
features that make it a core part of machine design.
DIFFERENTIAL
Explored the differential, a key component of the
drivetrain and how its internal gears interact. This
project deepened my understanding of how the
rotation of one gear directly influences others,
allowing wheels to spin at different speeds while
maintaining power and control through turns.
FSAE BRAKE PADS
Focused on brake pads to understand how smaller
assemblies come together to form a complete system.
Through this project, I learned the importance of
building detailed subcomponents to achieve an accurate
final model, especially critical in FSAE, where precision
braking plays a key role in safety, performance, and
control on the track.

SMEG Speaker
Recreation of an existing speaker model to understand its
internal components and design structure. Utilize the
knowledge to create a new design blending function with
creativity to reimagine sound in a fresh form.
The project began with the disassembly of an
existing speaker to study its internal
components and construction. This hands-on
exploration revealed key insights into its
functionality and manufacturing methods,
forming the basis for replicating and
reimagining the design.

Using precise measurements, the original speaker was modeled in CAD to visualize its internal
structure. This digital reference supported the redesign process by highlighting component
relationships and guiding improvements in both form and function.
An initial prototype was developed and
rendered in Fusion 360 to bring the new
speaker concept to life. While the design
captured the intended aesthetic and
layout, it faced practical limitations. Most
notably, the internal space couldn’t
accommodate 2 speaker cores as planned,
falling short of the functional goals.

Building on the first iteration, the design

was refined with a wider frame to house
all existing components comfortably.
This adjustment ensured a better balance
between form and function, aligning
the final concept more closely with the
original vision while improving usability
and internal fit.
SMEG inspired smooth curves, matte
finishes, and retro-modern feel.
Trail Grip
Designed a grip-assist device guided by empathy,
functionality, and inclusive design enabling cyclists with
ulnar nerve damage to ride safely and confidently.
Early stages of the project focused heavily on
brainstorming and ideation through sketching.
Using Sketchbook to visually explore different
concepts allowed for a wide range of ideas to
emerge. Balancing practicality, comfort, and
ease of use.

After evaluating the strengths and limitations

of each idea, four key concepts were
developed to support the cyclist’s grip: a
clipping mechanism, a hook mechanism, a
Velcro-based solution, and a strap glove.
These options formed the foundation for
further testing and refinement, each
addressing the challenge from a unique angle.

Following the sketching phase, quick and low-cost prototypes

were built to bring each concept to life. These mockups were
tested on an actual bike to better understand how each design
would perform in a real-world scenario. This hands-on approach
helped simulate the experience of the cyclist, allowing for
deeper empathy and a more informed evaluation of comfort,
usability, and overall effectiveness.
Final Prototype - Wire Tightening Gloves

The addition of the wires adds both adaptability and reassurance, empowering
the user to ride with greater confidence, safety, and independence.

After testing all four concepts, the strap was refined into a more secure
solution using retractable wires; tightening with a twist to enhance grip,
safety, and control. User testing on a bike confirmed its effectiveness,
offering both stability and ease of use for the cyclist.
Rubik Light
For this project, I explored Memphis design to create a playful, interactive
lamp, stepping far outside my usual style. Known for its bold colors and
geometric forms, Memphis challenged me to adapt creatively and think
differently. This experience pushed my design comfort zone and highlighted
the value of flexibility and experimentation in the creative process.
A successful project begins with thorough planning. I
started with concept drawings and eventually settled on a
Rubik's Cube-inspired light. From there, I mapped out
how to integrate the electrical components and visualized
the necessary parts using CAD to ensure seamless
execution.

The Rubik Cube Light captures the bold, eclectic spirit of Memphis design with its
unique colors and playful geometry.
Using CAD, I developed a full assembly to validate the design before building. The
model began with cutout acrylic panels, sanded and spray-painted in bold,
contrasting colors to reflect Memphis style. A custom metal frame was
constructed, bolted together, and paired with a carefully laid-out electrical system.
Bringing the Rubik’s Cube light to life combined sketching,
functionality, engineering knowledge, CAD, and hands-on
building. From concept to construction, each step balanced
creativity with precision to ensure both form and function.

To me, that’s what design is all about—bridging imagination

and precision to create something real, meaningful, and
uniquely expressive.
Pulse Mate
In a social impact project, I used stakeholder journey maps, and
other empathy and research methods to understand overnight
hospital experiences. This led to a wearable device concept that
provides entertainment, monitors vitals for early warnings, and
supports recovery, The concepts merges empathy, research, and
thoughtful design to enhance wellbeing.
Robot Hyena
Designed and built a robotic hyena using engineering principles,
CAD, and laser cutting techniques. The movement system was
driven by two sets of four-bar linkages, carefully engineered to
replicate leg motion. This project combined mechanical design,
creativity, and innovation to explore bio-inspired movement
through precise linkage systems.
