MS Power Control System, A 262,Durga vihar , Delhi is known to
satisfactorily cater to the demands of its customer base. The business
came into existence in 2000 and has, since then, been a known name
in its field.

MS Power Control System is a company which excels in the

manufacturing of control panels, distribution panel ,PVC panels, and
many other types of electrical Panels.

PRODUCT

An electrical control panel is a combination of electrical devices

which use electrical power to control the various mechanical
functions of industrial equipment or machinery. An electrical control
panel includes two main categories: Panel structure and Electrical
components.

1. PANEL STRUCTURE(ENCLOSURE):-The enclosure is a

metal box which varies in size and is typically made of
aluminum or stainless steel. The number of doors (usually one
or two) needed on the enclosure determines its size in most
industrial applications. The enclosure will come with a UL
safety rating (508A is typical) an IP rating, and/or a NEMA
classification. These listings help users determine properties
such as:

 Indoor/outdoor use
 Waterproof/water resistance
 Dust/solid contaminants proofing
 Hazardous conditions rating
 Explosion-proof rating

These various classifications are printed on a metal plate

and attached to the enclosure for easy identification and
reference.

2. ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS:-
Eight types of electrical components exist within an electrical
panel enclosure which define and organize the several different
functions carried out by the panel. These components include:

 Main circuit breaker. This is

like the disconnect of the main
electrical panel leading into a
home or office. Main circuit
breakers handle between
120V–480V in most industrial
applications.

 Surge arresters. This

component prevents lightning
strikes or utility power surges
from damaging the electrical
components inside the panel due
to overvoltage.
 Transformers. Depending on
the incoming voltage,
transformers may reduce
voltage to 120V for various
components or step down
voltage to 24V in instances
where incoming power is
120V.

 Terminal blocks. These

blocks help to organize and
distribute the array of wires
coming from various sources
to different electrical devices.
 Relays and contactors.
These on/off switches
control mechanized
functions based on
commands from the PLC.
Smaller relays control
functions like lights and fans.
Larger relays, called
contacts, control more advanced functions like motors.
Now Depending Upon the usage of the Client An Electrical Panel
Board may Contain All of the above aur some of the above
equipments.

[Link] & PRESUMPTIONS:-

 The cost of machinery and equipment is of particular make and
prices are approximate.
 All the operations involved in manufacturing of an electrical
control panel will be done in industrial workshop of the unit.
 The time required for manufacturing of electrical control panel
can be as little as 2days and can be as long as 6months.
 Mainly 3 types of workers are required in the manufacturing of
the panel
[Link] [Link] [Link]
 Rate of interest has been calculated at 15 to 20% However this
may vary depending upon the requirements of the client.
 Raw materials required for the manufacture of electric bulbs are
contain in stock and if the stock runs out an order is placed to
suitable suppliers as soon as possible.
 The lifespan of an electrical control panel is considered to be 15
to 20 years.
[Link] SCHEDULE
The major activities in the implementation of the project has been
listed in the average time for the implementation of the project is 3
days

[Link] and understanding the requirement of the client by given

tender.

[Link] out the tender provided by client by high executives.

[Link] a raw drawing of the panel to be sent to workshop for

manufacturing and the manufacturing starts as soon as the PO arrives.

[Link] a SLD to be sent to the wireman.

[Link] of Electrical Components from the stock and ordering

the ones which are not is storage.

[Link] of panel after wiring is done on the panel.

[Link] panel is sent to Delivery Location after packaging accordingly.

NOTE:-

[Link] of the above activities shall be initiated concurrently.

[Link] of raw material commences as soon as PO arrives.

[Link] estimated time for the manufacturing required is given.

[Link] ASPECTS

I. PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE
The Manufacturing consist of cutting CRC metal sheet into
different sizes according to the GA Drawing and then Welding
them together by a welding machine then the finished product is
sent for powder coating .
After the Cabinet is power coated then the electrical components
are installed in the Panel according to The SLD of the required
panel. The wireman than completes the wiring of the panel as
required is the SLD after this The Electrical Panel is tested In
the manufacturing unit and if test is successful the Panel is then
packed and sent to the delivery Location.

II. PROCESS FLOW CHART

PO RECEIVED CRC Sheet is cut acc.

Powder Coating of panel Welding of sheets

Installation of Electrical Components Testing & Delivery

III. PRODUCTION CAPACITY

More than 10 different Types of Panels are made in 1 year

Ranging from Rs 20000 to Rs 10000000

IV. MANUFACTURING UNIT REQUIREMENTS

As Heavy Machinery is used inside the facility 3 Phase

electricity connection is required for the manufacturing to take
place.

The Manufacturing Unit shall be set up only in Industrial Area

otherwise there is a risk of getting raided by the Pollution
control Bureau this manufacturing unit comes under the
category of Noise Pollution.

V. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Project profile may be modified to suit the individual

entrepreneurship qualities production program and also this with
the location characteristics wherever applicable.

The unit may contact the respective state pollution control board
and Central pollution control Board for Approval.

The Panel Cabinet should be having at least IP67 Rating as there

are Electrical components inside which if came in contact with
water or moisture could cause a big Disaster.

The Company should be CPRI Approved to compete in

acquiring Government Tenders.
VI. LIST OF MACHINERY REQUIRED

SHEET CUTTING MACHINE

A Sheet Cutting machine is used to cut the CRC sheet into
different sizes as per the required Size.
MANUAL CUTTER
It is a Type of cutter consisting of a very sharp blade which is
used to cut the sheet into different size and a liver which is used
to push the CRC sheet onto the cutter. This is an traditional type
of sheet cutting machine.
HOLE PUNCHING MACHINE
These machines are used to punch holes in the metal sheets for
wires to pass through or for work such as fitting of an indicator
Light.

WELDING MACHINE
This machine is used to weld different metal sheet pieces
together according to the requirement of the client.
The type of welding used in Electrical Control Panel
manufacturing is called ROD welding.

POWDER COATING MACHINE

This machine is used to power coat the Metal cabinet formed by
the welding of different sizes of sheets.
It uses heating effect for power coating.
First the powder is applied on the cabinet then the cabinet is
Placed inside a metal furnace which is then heated using fire
then the powder present on the surface of cabinet gets sticked to
it because of heat.
