ONCE WORSHIPPED AS A GODDESS FOR HER MUTANT ABILITY TO CONTROL
THE WEATHER, ORORO MUNROE HAS BEEN A WARRIOR, A QUEEN, AN X-MAN
AND NOW AN AVENGER. WHATEVER HER ROLE, ORORO HAS ALWAYS USED
HER INCREDIBLE POWERS TO PROTECT THE PLANET AND ALL ITS DENIZENS.
SHE IS EARTH’S MIGHTIEST MUTANT… SHE IS…
ORORO MUNROE
The X-MEN’S former mentor, PROFESSOR CHARLES
XAVIER, was incarcerated at GRAYMALKIN PRISON
for mutants. He received a psychic distress call from his
daughter, XANDRA, empress of the alien SHI’AR EMPIRE.
Xavier broke out of prison so he could aid Xandra. Xavier is
also suffering from a mutant brain tumor that’s affecting his
telepathic powers, but he has refused to accept this truth.
And the two teams of X-Men remain divided over whether
to aid or apprehend him.
Meanwhile, ETERNITY, the living embodiment of the
universe, made STORM his avatar, granting her new cosmic
powers. After returning to the STORM SANCTUARY on
Earth, she is grappling with her new role in the cosmos.
*Note: The events of this issue take place after NYX #9.

WOLVERINE & KITTY PRYDE #1
SHE IS 13 YEARS OLD, GOING ON FOURTEEN,
AND HER WORLD IS SLOWLY FALLING APART.
■ Kitty Pryde nearly lost her soul to the vile Ogun, who
trained her as his deadly protégée. Now, for the first
time, Chris Claremont presents a sequel to his character-
defining work, KITTY PRYDE & WOLVERINE, with the
all-new WOLVERINE & KITTY PRYDE limited series.
Set in the aftermath of those events, Kitty struggles
to find what it means to be herself and what it means
to be an X-Man, as she and Wolverine encounter new CONCERT OF CHAMPIONS #1
villains and face a life-changing choice!
■ What says springtime more than a massive outdoor
concert event? That’s what waiting for you in the pages
of CONCERT OF CHAMPIONS #1, as Marvel’s top
performers—including mutants such as Lila Cheney
and Dazzler and non-mutants such as Spider-Gwen and
Rick Jones—come together for a day of fun, music and
togetherness! But it isn’t all love and good vibes—and
the term Battle of the Bands was never so relevant!
■ Meanwhile, over in UNCANNY X-MEN, we’re continuing
to peel back the onion layers on our new young mutants.
Deathdream is the focus of “The Dark Artery” playing out
in UNCANNY X-MEN #13-16, a sinister and suspenseful
saga of cosmic horror! Plus, David Marquez returns to
the art, always a cause for celebration!
■ It’s a month of anniversaries! You knew Logan was an
old dude, but did you know he was creeping toward
400? That’s right, WOLVERINE #8 is legacy #400, and
we are celebrating in style, with a massive story from UNCANNY X-MEN #13
Saladin Ahmed and Martín Cóccolo that serves as a
climax to the Adamantine saga with a heavy-duty reveal,
as well as the kickoff to the next year of storytelling (and
a special anniversary bonus tale!).
■ But that’s not all—this April, we’re also celebrating
X-FORCE #300! Geoffrey Thorne and Marcus To bring
you this epic oversized heartbreaker in this volume’s
#10. Forge has been working on the problem of the
world fractures, but what is the Solution? The answer
is guaranteed to surprise you, and that is not the only
secret hidden in this landmark issue! PLUS: A second
tale celebrating the legacy of X-FORCE!
