Haggle is a ttrpg tool for valuing goods and services.
How to Use Haggle Community Wealth Modifiers
From the list below identify the Value Level Poor [x1]: Village or hamlet, farming
of the goods or services the PCs are buying communities, slums. Not likely to have Rare
or selling. Then roll the dice and apply the or Exotic items.
Community Wealth Modifier. The result is
Modest [x2]: City or town, business district,
the value of the item or service
working class. Not likely to have Exotic
Items.
Value Levels
Food or Trinkets [1d10]: Meal, rations, Opulent [x10]: Metropolis, financial district,
beverage, simple item. high society.
Common/Cheap [2d10]: Low quality Haggle
weapon, armor, or clothing, simple
When buying from or selling to an NPC, first
adventuring gear, ammunition. Mercenary
agree on a Value Level and Community
and laborer monthly wages.
Wealth Modifier. Then one PC and the GM
Rare/Valuable [2d10 x10]: High quality (for the NPC) each roll for value in secret;
weapon, armor, or clothing, glasswork, this is what each believes the item to be
simple jewelry, specialized tool, pack worth. Then make an opposed charisma
animal, mechanism, cart. Monthly wages check; the loser must make the first offer,
