The Innovator 2.0 is Saipem’s in-house designed and manufactured heavy work class ROV.
Based on Sonsub’s 30 years of experience in ROV design, production and operation, the Innovator 2.0
sets the new state-of-the-art in ROV technology.
Thanks to the extraordinary survey and construction capabilities, the flexible and powerful interface
to subsea instruments and tools and the excellent system maintainability, usability and ergonomics,
Innovator 2.0 results in an extremely powerful subsea intervention tool, ready to operate in the most
challenging offshore and Oil&Gas conditions.

Saipem’s new Innovator 2.0 ROV is a heavy work class vehicle used expectancy of over 15
for oil field maintenance and construction, including in ultradeep years. it is the result
of three years of
waters, and for monitoring the seabed and gathering data design and testing
to design of oil fields or subsea pipelines.
The ROV’s umbilical cable and tether have been redesigned
to transmit the ship’s onboard power to the subsea vehicles.
