Baby cardigan with an eyelet pattern
- Size 6-12 months -
Materials
- 150 grams of yarn for size 3 mm needles (the cardigan in the picture is made in Garnstudio
Drops Baby Merino color no. 37 - light lavender)
- Size 2,5 and 3 mm needles (straight or circular)
- 6 buttons
Tips and info
The cardigan is worked back and forth. It is made in 5 pieces - back, 2 fronts and 2 sleeves - that
are then sewn together (apart from the shoulder seem). Lastly the neckband and two front bands
are worked from picked up sts.
Please note that the two fronts are not the same width. The opening in the front is therefore not
down the center but a little to the side.
Buttonholes are worked as follows: k 2 tog, yo
Full length: 26 cm
