Launch SEG-Y utility from Tools:

2. Choose select file option to choose the navigation file. Specify the directory & change the file
type to ALL. Click List tab to see the navigation file entries.
3. Choose UKOOA Format Standard and specify the byte locations from the navigation file
accordingly.

4. Click Line selcection tab. In the line selection window choose the directory containg SEGY data
and click filter by typing *.SGY
5. All the lines contained in the directory will be listed in the table. Select a row, right click and
select list line table. Manually drag and drop the navigation data corresponding to particular
SEGY line. The SEGY trace file alignment table should only contain lines with the navigation data.
Delete the row entries without navigation data.
Click ok

6. Select the byte location of new SEGY and specify in SEGY Output whether you want to overwrite
the existing SEGY or create a new one in a particular directory. Once you are done with
specifying parameters. Click Start in Utility tool. You will get a SEGY line with a report in form of
text document telling the information about the Old and new X Y Positions.
