5. Kavita (friend of alia , 20 years who stays in ajmer as she is the only child of her
parents and also her father suffers from health ailments)
6. Ishan(one another friend of alia , 20 years old who is confused that whether he
have taken the right decision to move out of the city he came here to PURSUE
MBA)
7. Dadi ( She is 70 , the root of the family ,one who takes care of the traditions )
8. Fufaji ( who tends to forget the names easily and a government employee)
9. Assistant (assistant of fufaji)

(SCENE 1)

A school is about to end and the teacher is asking every student that where they will go after
completing the 12th and one by one each and every student expresses that they want to go
outside the city to pursue the higher studies and no one wants to stay here because they think
ajmer doesn’t cater to their educational needs.

Peon : Silence silence sir a rahe hain bacchon chup ho jao, Are bola na bacchon chup ho jao
Varna Sar aajayenge .
(exits the stage but clashes with the wall)

Airport scene between Kavita, Alia and Ishaan

The story now focuses on Kavita who is living with her father who is sick and trying
to struggle with the daily life affairs. But also she is attached with her roots and also
wants to stay here and work for her Homeland but also having sometimes the
feeling of fomo seeing her friends.

(In the background kavita’s ill father and she taking care. Also some guests come to ask
about the health of kavita’s father)

Kavita’s Monologue :

Ishika hustling hard to manage all the new things that are office , making food, washing clothes
and trying hard to be fitted into this new life. After every other thing they are getting reminded of
their hometown and the comforts of their home. But still putting the heart and soul together to
settle in the new town and proving themselves the best match for the city.

Ishan’s Monolgue :

(SCENE 3)

(Alia is having her suitcase in her hand and standing outside the house her grandmother is doing
some work)
Alia : Dadi ye ghar Meri Yadon se Chhota lag raha hai.
Dadi : Ya Shayad Tumhari Nazre ghar ko samajhne Se Badi Ho Gai Hai.

(Alia, Kavita and Ishan plans to meet at Alia’s home)

Kavita : Tum dono kaise ho mai dekhti rehti hu tumari stories bade maje karte ho yrr itna
ghumte ho kitni mast lifestyle jee rahe ho hnn waha par ghar ki yaad dosto ki yaad aati hai ya
nahi

bachege. Bache toh chale jate hai lekin kya maa baap unki yaadon se nikal paate hai.

In the scene four it has been shown that Alia is getting the award for making the best
documentary in the cultural category at the same time having the realisation that what she have
been missing and misinterpreting about her own country.

Eventually Ishan also realisation that his parents need him more here then he pursuing some
startup abroad so he decide to stay here and start his start up here and also at the same time take
care of his parents.

Alia could not stay here because she have to complete her degree but now she is completely
aware of the richness of her culture and also gave a promise to her dadi that after completing the
degree she will be coming here and will be working for her own land.
