INTRODUCTION

We all love and adore our friends but when it comes to friendships there are many different
types calling someone a friend is putting trust into someone and loving someone Although these
relationships may have started differently A friend will always be a friend.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF FRIENDSHIPS?

There are different types of friends and each of them has a distinct role in our life.
We learn to appreciate friendship and the different types of friends, with all their
greatness and all their limitations. They all bring something to us, each in their own way.
The important thing is to understand it. Let's see in this sequel what are the characteristics
that differentiate them.

a) Friends out of kidness

We mostly have a utilitarian relationship with these types of friends. However, the link
does not end there. There is a genuine affection, but with very precise limits. These are
the kind of friendships that are forged around a common interest or an exchange of
favors.

Friends of convenience can be a doctor or a lawyer. The ones we look for when we have
issues related to their domain. There is an implicit mutual solidarity pact that is almost
always respected in this type of friendship. What unites is mutual benefit.

b) Intergenerational friends

This type of friendship is very special. It is a friendship between people of very different ages.
This means that they may not be sharing daily activities, but rather some important aspects of
their lives. They are usually not constant friendships, but they are never the less very dee
It is common for this type of friendship to be built between teachers and students. Also
between peers who share the same hobby or interest. These friendships bring us a lot insofar
as the exchange of perspectives is generally very profitable. These are disinterested
relationships in which the true interest of the other predominates.

c) Friend of heart

Heartfelt friends are the ones we can call at 2 a.m. because we have a huge problem. They
listen to us carefully and are by our side in all circumstances. They know everything, or almost,
of our life. We feel confident in their presence and do not need masks since everything is
based on mutual acceptance.

Boyfriends are very rare in life. They're not perfect either, and we may hold a little grudge or
envy them for something. However, affection and availability always prevail.
II/WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
1) THE ADVANTAGES OF FRIENDSHIP

Good friend are good for your Health. Friends can help you celebrate good times and
provide support during bad times. Friends prevent isolation and loneliness and give you a
chance to offer needed companionship, too. Friends can alsoGood friend are good for

 Increase your sense of belonging and purpose


 Boost your happiness and reduce your stress

 Help you cope with traumas, such as divorce, serious illness, job loss or the death of a
loved one
 Encourage you to change or avoid unhealthy lifestyle habits, such as excessive
drinking or lack of exercise

Friends also play a significant role in promoting your overall health. Adults with strong
social connections have a reduced risk of many significant health problems, including
depression, high blood pressure and an unhealthy body mass index (BMI). In fact, studies
have found that older adults who have meaningful relationships and social support are
likely to live longer than their peers with fewer connections.

2) THE DISADVANTAGES OF FRIENDSHIP

Having non-ambitious friends will limit your potential
