Presentation Script: Smart Solar Traffic Light – Materials & Cost

Student 1: (Greeting and Introduction)

Good morning respected teacher and friends!
Today, we are excited to present the materials we used to create our model – the Smart Solar
Traffic Light System with Recycled Sensors.
This project shows how we can use solar energy and simple electronics to build a traffic light
system that runs on clean energy!

Student 2: (Materials Explanation)

Here is the list of materials we used, along with their approximate prices:
1. Small Solar Panel – around ₹50 to ₹100
2. Rechargeable Battery – ₹30 to ₹80
3. LED Lights (Red, Yellow, Green) – ₹15 to ₹30
4. Resistors – ₹10 to ₹15
5. Recycled Sensor like a Photoresistor or IR Sensor – ₹20 to ₹50
6. Mini Breadboard or Cardboard – ₹20 to ₹50
7. Connecting Wires – ₹10 to ₹20
8. On/Off Switch – ₹10 to ₹15
9. Glue, Tape, Scissors – ₹20 to ₹40
10. Toy Car or DIY Car – ₹30 to ₹70
11. Cardboard or Foam Base for Structure – ₹20 to ₹40

Student 3: (Summary)
The total cost of our model is approximately ₹250 to ₹500, depending on what items we already had
at home.
We reused some materials from old toys and electronics to keep it affordable and eco-friendly!
This project proves that we can create working models using recycled items and clean energy, and
it's also a step toward SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy.

Student 1: (Closing)
Thank you, everyone, for listening to our presentation.
We hope this inspires all of us to think creatively and work towards a greener and smarter future!
