ABSTRACT:

The makeup used to color the lips is called lipstick. It improves the lips' look. Lipstick
is used to the lips to enhance attractiveness, make them appear more appealing, and shield
them from various UV radiation that can cause damage. A cosmetic item including pigments,
oils, scents, preservatives, colors, textures, and lip protection is called a herbal lipstick. It is
now practically a standard component of women's handbags. Lips that are shiny, smooth, dry,
or moist all simply depend on how makeup is applied. Because natural cosmetics are safe,
herbal lipsticks are becoming more and more popular. Hundreds of color variations are
available on the market to meet women's demands for liquid and stick-on lip tints. Lipsticks

chemicals that maintain healthy lips. Lipstick with synthetic colorants is really bad for our

health issues such as skin discoloration, lip cancer, skin inflammation, etc. when used
continuously over an extended period of time. Lipstick has been shown to have a variety of
harmful effects, including allergic reactions, nauseousness, dermatitis, lip dryness, and even
death. Consequently, due to their safety, demand for cosmetics using herbal elements has
grown worldwide. This review paper discusses the benefits of herbal lipstick, as well as its
formulation flaws, ideal qualities, anatomy of the lips, and evaluation.

Result:

There has been enormous increase in women's use of cosmetics over the last
few decades. The hazards caused by these chemicals, however, have recently come
to the forefront. The goal of the present research formulating and evaluating herbal
lipsticks was to formulate a lipstick using herbal ingredients with the hope of
minimizing the side effects caused by the synthetic ones available. Therefore, from
the present investigation it has been concluded that this formulated herbal lipstick
has a better choice for women with limited side effects although a thorough clinical
trial can be performed for better efficacy to access the formulation.
CONCLUSION:

The study came to the conclusion that a variety of natural

components, including castor oil, coconut oil, olive oil, and bees wax, may be successfully
used to create herbal lipstick. Because synthetic coloring compounds have various adverse
effects, cocoa powder is a better natural colorant option than rose oil, which is utilized for
perfume or smell. Following extensive clinical research, consumers can safely and effectively
benefit from this herbal lipstick.
There are various types of benefits of
