Placing 3-4 spikes on the hood,
1 on the back, and 2 on the tail, in any
sizes you want. The "make" amount is
just suggested.

WINGS:
make two

Fold & Sc across. This is the top of the
wing. Do not stuff.
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
In yellow make 2 FEET:
Rnd1: sc 6 in magic ring (6)
Rnd2: (sc 1, inc)x3 (9)
Rnd3: (sc 2, inc)x3 (12)
Rnd4-6: sc around (12) 3 rnds
Fold and Sc aross, fasten off, leave a long
tail, pull the tail through foot to the heel.
The sc across will be the "toes". Do not
stuff.
BEAK:
In yellow
Rnd1: sc 6 in magic ring (6)
Rnd2-3: sc around (6) 2 rnds
Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing. Do
not stuff.

ASSEMBLY:
Each end of the hood should line up
with the belly patch. I sew them to the
last row, where the body meets the
neck. (but not in the neck seam) this
helps it lay nice when the hood is down.
The head and body should line up.
The wings are sewn, 1 rnd below the
hood, and 1 st away from the belly
patch.
The beak will be one or two rows below
the end of the V of the face, centered
between the eyes.
The feet should be sc across pointing
front, 2 sts apart, 1-3 sts in front of the
tail. OR place them where you think
they look good.
Spikes can be placed, and made in
whatever sizes you prefer, equally
spaced apart centered with the nose.
Add some felt for teeth if you want!
