I don't know yet!!

Chapter 1: THE
END...
It was a regular day, I woke up showered,
ate, and made my bed. Once again, I had
burnt my toast, stared at my stomach
and got lost in the view the void I wanted
to fill, was it really fixable or was I just
hoping it was.
Everything was boring, plain and grey like
everybody had just given up and followed
the cycle, I wanted to break it but I
didn't know how...well it was all beyond
me but that didn’t mean I wouldn’t reach
my goal.
I decided to go for a walk to slow down,
half the time my brain is far away from
everything in it’s own world no one else
could understand it even if they tried but
that didn’t bother it was my special
ability.

Perhaps, it wasn’t at this time my brain

failed me and well everybody knows the
rest...

Now, I continue on my stroll lost in

thought but, suddenly... a smell unlike
anything I had imagined, I was hazed
everything went dark.

The next thing, I saw is not what I

hoped. A dark, lonely room filled with
traps, weapons and blood, out of the
corner of my eye there was a trickle, my
eyes followed it like a trail it was blood
all I could see was BLOOD and bodies
piled like a stake of cheese.

So dead and full of life at the same time

I could imagine every detail it was scary,
it led me to wonder if I would meet the
same fate. I heard a creek, was it really
the end, end of my utopia.
Chapter 2: HIM
A man opened the door tall and frail, he
looks as if he wanted to take it all back
like he has been forced into it all. He is
just as confused as me, I ponder as I
realize this the man that has done all of
it.

Sitting right across from me, I don’t

know whether to run or kill him this is my
golden opportunity but, I don’t know
anything, I don’t have a plan is he even
alone?
Finally in a strange but soothing voice he
said “How are you?” I gather my courage
and say I’m fine. He stares long and hard
into my eyes and I stare back.

He throws me a gun and says “Let's play a

game” it’s now that I start to realize I
am face to face with a psycho killer, I
had always dreamed about this day but
never thought it would. I am not scared
or frightened more curious and amused.

The game begins, it’s shooting the bodies

I really don’t want to but I know how this
works I tell myself their dead anyway, so
no one’s getting hurt. I unload five rounds
on the bodies each hung like trophy for
the next victim to see.

There is no blood it had already been

drained. The thought of this process
sickens me to my absolute core, how
could someone even with no regard for
life be so cruel. I imagine my body up
upon his plaque of “trophies”.

Finally, the game has ended, all I could

see was holes dark and hollow, almost like
an empty soul lost in the balance of life
and dead.
Night has fallen and all is still, he left
the room. In my mind his name is John it
matches his appearance. When he comes
back a few minutes later there is a bowl
in his hand.

FOOD finally, but am I really going eat it.

For all I know that’s what is going kill me.
Poisoned, sick food waiting for it’s
moment strike, maybe quick and painless
or long and insufferable.
Either way I don’t think it’s worth the
risk, almost like my entire life relies on
this decision, to eat or not to eat?

I finally make my mind; the risk is

greater is reward, my body will survive
another day. As my long thought has
finally ended. I realize he is right next to
me.

Coming closer and closer he stares at me

like if I am the most interesting thing in
the world, an unknown, foreign object he
has never seen before. His eyes show a
volcanic fire I have never seen in anybody
but myself, like there is goal in it all or
maybe it is a symbol.

Whatever it is nothing is going to stop

him, except me of course as I am and will
always be a force to be reckoned with.
Chapter 3: WHO
ARE YOU???
It’s already been a day I think as I wake
up, I hear a buzz it’s my phone, but how.
I know he took my phone yesterday, so
why do I now have it?

I switch my phone on everything is still

there but there is no service, it finally
clicks that this is a sick joke, a symbol
that no one can save me even with the
right tools.
My mind is full of anger, I am going to
escape. We both don’t know far the
other will go, but I refuse to give up,
each and every challenge will make me
stronger.

He opens the door as I beam a serious

but curious look at him. What’s your name
I say. ‘Jeffrey’ he said I chuckled as I
say ‘Is anything you do your own
invention’.

I can tell in his facial expressions I am

right. I continue staring at my phone, A
sudden trigger, there's a gun to my head.
I stare at him. ‘Stand’ he says I stand
and walk with the nudge of his gun
against my back. All I can see is forest as
far as my eyes go. I continue walking
‘Stop’ he says, here we are, is he going to
kill me, I really wonder.

‘Dig’ he says, as I quietly dig, I question

if I am digging my own grave. Too many
thoughts are going through my head for
me to hear them all.

‘Stop’ he finally says as he moves closer

and closer, we both stare into the hole I
see a twinkle in his eye of pure delight.
His plan is coming together just the way
he thought. It scares me to wonder what
someone of his ‘kind’ thinks about. The
only question going through my mind is am
I going to die.

I feel a push, down I go into the pit. As

my mind fills with horror, I feel it an arm
severed and dead. Separated from what
was once life, caught between death and
darkness.

Soil being poured on top of me like heavy

rain, I'm being buried alive. Climb, that's
all I can think as the soil keeps pouring.
As I regain my senses, I start climbing
and I don’t stop until the top of the pit.
Life in me again but just holding on. I
beam at him. His face shows just how
sick and twisted his brain is.

Almost as if I could read his mind, I feel

the extent of which his brain will go. This
is just the beginning.
Chapter 4:DEATH
My phone has reached 90 percent, that’s
enough for the day, just in case I find a
connection. I stare into the corner as my
mind has suddenly run out of thoughts.

There’s a girl, although now pale, frail and

cold, I can tell there was once love, joy
and kindness in her heart.

Although now cold to the touch and

lifeless, she is or was full of life and
warmth. I can tell that she did not fear
death, more she conquered it through
dying.

The next body is a man he seems tired

and frustrated, like death was a gift to
him, one that nothing else could compare
to.

He ran to death with open the arms wide

and ready, is he running or tired, I cannot
tell.

The next person was a girl she looks

younger than me but her clothes tell me
she way more mature than she needed to
be like maturity was forced upon her.

She looks tired and angry, almost like

being in this exact room was an escape
from her sad reality, as if it a vacation
from everything around her.

Jeffrey opens the door once again there

is a bowl in his hand. I can feel the
shakes and shivers of hunger coursing
through my body. Time to take a risk and
eat.
The food tastes fine so far and I feel
fine but I will not finish the food just in
case I am wrong as mistakes can be fatal
at this point, Jeffrey leaves and I
continue examining the bodies piecing
their live together like a puzzle.

The next person is a boy his face full of

sorrow and misery, he was frail, I slowly
realize all of the victims are frail expect
me. His face gives the idea that his time
in this was insufferable.
I wonder if all the victims were always
this skinny or this was a part of his
‘process’.

If it is then why am I receiving food,

what if I am the anomalous result, an
experiment. Will I end up like them
judged by the next victim that awaits
their sad and lonely fate.

As I float in and out of consciousness

finally falling asleep, I wonder what’s
next is my fate death or life.
As I am waking up it feels like the bodies
are speaking and moving towards me with
a warning, like something bad is about to
happen and this is a sign.

My nerves are at an all-time high it feels

like the bodies are staring right at me
with an evil glare, ready to wake up and
fight, everything is moving closer and
closer the bodies are talking and
whispering.

As I gasp for air, I realize I was asleep

nothing is moving, everything is still, but
something feels wrong, maybe the dream
really is a sign, but of what?
Chapter 6: HIDE
Here it comes, the sign was correct I can
hear slamming doors, glass falling and
breaking like a gentle heart and grunting.

There is a girl in Jeffery’s arms he

shoves her into the room and locks the
door. Cold and shaking she speaks ‘My
name i...ssss sa..sa..Sarah’. My name is
Zoe I say.

I give her water and calm her down as

panicking can make you sicker. Finally
she’s calm, she looks around the room.
She is just as curious as me but her eyes
show she’s also scared, like death has
stared long and hard straight into her
soul.

There is something a beam of hope and

light in her, she’s different. I am no
longer alone, she will be my company as
these tiring and hopeless days go by.

Jeffrey opens the door; he throws us

guns and yells ‘RUN’. Without a second
thought we run as far and fast as our
legs can go.
We pass the ditch and run into the
forest we stand and wait, while escaping
is on both our minds, we wouldnt make it
far.

She can hardly speak due to starvation

and lack of sleep and for me everything is
spinning. Round and round like a merry-go
round drifting into the distant mountains.

I hear his voice I grab Sarah and we run

have no idea where we are and what or
who lurks in the shadows of the trees
and cool summer breeze.
