Child’s Cable Sweater
Instructions are given for first size. Figures in parenthesis
refer to larger sizes. When only one figure is given, it
applies to all sizes.
Materials: approx. 9 (11 , 1 3) balls (approx. 1 43yd/1 30m
each) of SMC select Extra Soft Merino (1 00%
superwash Merino wool) in color 0511 9 walnut.
Size 3-6 [3.25-4mm] needles, cable needle [cn]. Three¾”
buttons [by Dill, item 3801 34].
Rib Pattern: k2, p2.
Cable Pattern: work according to chart. Chart shows RS
rows only; on WS rows, work sts as they appear.
Work row 1 [with increases] and row 2 once, then repeat
rows 3-1 8 throughout.
