Purpose of the Questionnaire
This questionnaire intends to obtain a correct understanding about the background of CNDG as well
as its technical capacities. The collected information will make it possible for the JICA experts to
proceed with the baseline related to “Output 1: Technology transfer of topographic mapping”.

Method to Answer this Questionnaire


Before answering the series of questions, please understand and remember the following points.
 Please skip questions that require you to provide the JICA Experts with confidential
information.
 Please write your answers within designated boxes/spaces in English. You can expand the boxes
if necessary.
 Please attach relevant documents and materials (or share them separately) if applicable.

1. What kind of geographic information (including topographic map) do you use for what kind of
purpose in your daily work?
Geographic information refers to data related to a specific location on Earth, such as coordinates,
addresses, rivers, roads, and boundaries. I use geographic information to create a Thematic Map
of Public Facilities for Viqueque Regency on 06/05/2024 total 5 sub-districts Namely:
1. Viqueque District
2. Ossu District
3. Lacluta District
4. Uatolari District
5. Uatocarbau District
But now I am assigned to Uatu-Carbau District.
Kontola All Viqueque Regency Overall.

2. What kind of hardware and software do you use for operating geographic information in your
daily work?
During my MPIE work in 23/05/2023, I learned the system on the computer such as:
• QGIS, ArcGIS, RTK
• Download date on the GNSS CORS receiver
• Reboot end GNSS CORS system confirmation

3. What kind of equipment or tools do you use in your field (on-site) survey work?
GPS, Mobile Phone, Field Note Books, GPS RTK

4. Which manuals or guidelines for operating geographic information do you use in your daily
work?
The guidelines that I usually use are mostly learning from Youtube, Google and asking friends and
my head who understands more than me.

5. What kind of training/education/instruction for operating geographic information have you
received?
During my college education I took the ICT faculty majoring in informatics engineering
I just worked at MPIE, regarding geography and implementation in my work

6. Other comments/observations
I Need Further Training on System Plan in Geographic Material
