Look at the prompts below, and using your own
imagination write your own diary page.
I got up early yesterday morning although it was Saturday.
First, I had a shower and then I went to the kitchen downstairs
for some breakfast. I had a bowl of cereals and some orange
juice. After breakfast it was time to check my email, Google
Classroom and Facebook accounts. I have lots of assignments
on my Google Classrooms and it is difficult for me to keep up
with everything. So I uploaded some files and turned in some
assignments. Then I spent about two hours online in a Zoom
meeting with my friends, as we must keep social distancing.
Then I took the dog out for a walk. When I came back I shared
my selfies on Facebook and Instagram. In the afternoon, I
watched a film on Netflix with my mom. We saw a Marvel film. I
thought it was fantastic. I didn’t do much in the evening apart
from playing cards with my brother. I feel that I am becoming a
couch potato.
Now it’s your time to write the diary page. Think of what
you did yesterday and write about it. You can illustrate
your diary page, too if you want.

Task 3
What can you see in the pictures? Describe them using
simple sentences, but creating a short story as if you
post them on your Facebook/ Instagram page.
A model is provided for you below.
Mary and John are in a wheelchair
although they are not disabled. They
found the wheelchairs when they
were playing at the local flea market.
After finding the wheelchairs, they
cleaned and oiled them. They will be
in trouble if their parents find out about their antics.
Now use your imagination and write a few sentences for
