Crimes Against the State

1. Section 121 – Waging War Against Pakistan

o Offense: Waging or attempting to wage war against Pakistan or abetting the same.

o Punishment: Death, or imprisonment for life, and confiscation of property.

2. Section 124-A – Sedition

o Offense: Exciting disaffection against the government.

o Punishment: Imprisonment for life, or imprisonment up to 3 years, with a fine.

Crimes Against the Human Body

3. Section 302 – Murder

o Offense: Intentionally causing the death of another person.

o Punishment: Death, life imprisonment, or compensation (Diyat) payable to the victim's


heirs.

4. Section 307 – Attempt to Murder

o Offense: Attempting to cause death.

o Punishment: Up to 10 years imprisonment, with a fine. If the victim suffers harm,

7. Section 380 – Theft in Dwelling House
