Introduction:
This chapter identifies the different sources of teaching and learning materials in
the environment and gives some suggestions on how teachers can produce their own
materials and use them.
Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to:
1. Identify the sources of learning materials;
2. Produce a sample of learning material;
3. Elaborate the importance of learning materials.
Learning Content:
GRAPHIC ORGANIZER
- Visually depicts relationships between facts, concepts, or ideas.
- You can easily find it in school because it is a pedagogical tool to provide a visual aid to
facilitate learning and instruction.
- Teachers often use graphic organizers to illustrate complicated concepts to understand
them while students use excellent means to organize their thoughts especially in
writing.
Activity
Essay Writing
In a ½ crosswise yellow padpaper, state the relevance of graphic organizers in a paragraph form. If
possible, you can provide examples that will serve as your supporting details.
