 In tarot, Jupiter is associated with the Wheel
of Fortune card, which perfectly captures
this gigantic planet’s gambling spirit.

Jupiter is the Las Vegas of the cosmos: It’s

decadent, excessive, and certainly not afraid
to take a few risks.

However, too many hours spent gambling

may yield some troubling returns. Since
Jupiter’s nature is to expand whatever it
touches, it can magnify darkness, as well.

 Mythology
In Roman mythology, Jupiter is known as the King of the Gods. He is also the God of the
Sky and Thunder, known as Zeus in Greek mythology.

Prior to Jupiter’s reign, his father—Saturn—was King of the Gods. Saturn had several
children with Ops, but with each passing day, became increasingly paranoid and tyrannical.
Under the threat of being overthrown by one of his children, Saturn began to consume his
babies. Ops raised one child in secret, Jupiter. Once Jupiter was fully grown, he forced
Saturn to regurgitate his children (Neptune, Pluto, Juno, Ceres, and Vesta). Thereafter,
Jupiter and his siblings banded together to overthrow Saturn.

Jupiter declared war on Saturn and the Titans, eventually defeating and imprisoning them.
After the fall of Saturn and the Titans, Jupiter and his brothers, Neptune and Pluto, divided
the world into three parts. Neptune became God of the Sea, Pluto became God of the
Underworld, and Jupiter became God of the Heavens, claiming the title of King of the Gods.

Jupiter’s movement into Gemini marks the end of our Jupiter
in Taurus period. We won’t experience Jupiter in Taurus

Jupiter’s transit through sensual, slow-moving Taurus drew

Jupiter in Gemini aims to cultivate growth and abundance through social
connection, dialogue, and adaptability. It has a keen understanding of matters of
