Relation between swot and johari?
(FIrst write the definition of of both)
While the Johari Window and SWOT analysis are used for different purposes, they are related in that
they both involve self-reflection and analysis. Both tools require individuals to assess themselves and
their situation in order to gain a better understanding of themselves or their organization.
Benefits of Johari.
Johari window actually enables us to become more aware about our strength,weakness and
bwhaviour
It can also help us to improve our communication because when we know a person properly we can
communicate more easily
Limitations of johari
Main limitation of Johari window is it invites people to share quite personal information which not
everyone is comfortable with.
Another criticism is that it oversimplifies human behaviour by splitting them into 4 categories.
How to use the johari window?
Identify your personal characteristics.
Then basically draw your johari and explain it.
Open up and ask for feedback.

Hard skills
Obtained through hands on experience.
It is learnt over time.
One needs to go through rigourous tests to be proficient in hard skills.
Soft skills
Naturally obtained to a large extent.
It is already present but we need to improve it over time.
They are traits and abilities that we develop throughout our entire life.
How to develop hardskills ?
Attend workshops.
Get coached by mentor or teammate.
Apply the new skill to a personal project.
How to develop softskills?
Perform an honest self assessment.
In order to develop leadership skills we might take up a new project at work or request more
responsibility in our volunteer role.
Presentation skills
How to organize a presentation-
1)Develop an outline for your keypoints-
a)Think about three or four keypoints you want to share with the audience and organize them into a
concise outline.
b)Any points that are complicated or too lengthy should be simplified for clarity.
c)Provide information that supports your topic.
d) Think about the visual elements you can use to enhance your message such as
graphs,charts,photos etc

Preparing a material for the presentation-
1)Use a simple background for the presentation.
2)Colours used should be appropriate and visible to the audience
3)Adequate font size so that the ones who are at the back can also see the contents of our
presentation with utmost clarity.
4)Use distinct font style for heading title and section headings.
5)Maximum 5-7 bullet points on a single slide.
6)The bullet points can be words or short sentences.
7)Ensure animation or transition doesn't distract the audience.
8)The pictures used should be appropriate and of a proper size.
9)Bar graphs/charts or scales should not be misleading.
10)Do not use offensive or stereotypical videos.
11)Proof read and spell check.
12)If you are using the board then write with an appropriate font.
13)societation is important i.e. we should give picture courtesy and we should avoid plagiarism.

15)Don't put visuals that distract the audience from actual presentation.
Rehearsing the speech with presentation.
1)After developing the presentation it is important to rehearse several times before actually
presenting it.
2)Record your presentation,listen to it and rectify any mistakes.
3)Think of the possible questions that the audience may ask.
4)Always know the material more than you have to say.
So that if the audience asks us some questions after that we can answer them without any difficulty.
5)We should control the usage of filler words.
6)Practice in front of a mirror or any in front of someone who we know properly.
Presentation delivery
1)You need to be dressed formally.
2)Arrive early for presentation.
3)Have a backup plan for any technical issues.
4)Read the audience in the beginning.
5)Have a nice smile on your face.
6)Speak loud and clearly in such a way that the one who is sitting at the back can hear them properly.
7)Change voice intonation that is ups and downs of our voice and when to put stress and when not
to.
8)Use appropriate body language and gestures.
9)Make a proper eye contact with the audience.
10)Stand beside the screen so that the audience can clearly see the slides.
11)Do not look at the screen or the board while presenting.
DEALING WITH THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWER SECTION
1)Make an eye contact with the person who asked the question.
2)Greet him or her and say "Thank you for the question!" Or "That is an important question!".
3)If it's a large room,the presenter can repeat the question once for the audience.
4)If the answer is known,it should be given immediately and briefly.
5)If the answer is unknown the presenter can thank the individual and say, "I haven't thought about
it before but thank you for pointing it out. I'll definitely check and get back to you after finding it out"
Donts of a Qna session
1) Shuffling papers and not making eye contact with the questioner.
2) Don't be little the questioner or insult him or her.
3)Calling those who want to ask the question by their physical characteristics.
4)not taking questions in the sequence they are asked.
