USG OF WHOLE ABDOMEN 3D/4D
Clinical information : Abdominal pain
LIVER :
Normal in size, measure about 14.2 cm with regular margin and normal parenchymal echotexture.
Parenchymal echogenicity is increased. No focal lesion is seen. Intrahepatic part of the IVC and
hepatic vein appears normal.
PORTA HEPATIC :
Porta hepatic region appears normal without evidences of any lymphadenopathy.
PORTAL VEINS : Appears normal in course and not dilated. No evidences of thrombus is seen within the lumen of portal
vein.
BILIARY DUCTS :
Intra and extrahepatic biliary trees are not dilated. C.B.D is of normal caliber.
GALL BLADDER :
Gall bladder is normal in size & shape. Wall thickness is within normal limit. No evidence of calculus or sludge is seen.
PANCREAS :
Pancreas is normal in size with normal echotexture. No focal lesion is seen. MPD is not dilated.
SPLEEN :
Normal in size, measures about 8.5 cm with uniform parenchymal echogenicity. No focal lesion is seen.
KIDNEY : Both the kidneys are normal in size, shape and position.
Right kidney :
Measures about 8.8 x 3.1 cm. Parenchymal echogenicity is normal. No calculus or mass lesion could be evaluated.
CMD: Well maintained
Cortical thickness : About 5.6 mm at interpole cortex.
PC system : Not dilated
Left kidney :
Measures about 9.3 x 4.3 cm. Parenchymal echogenicity is normal. No calculus or mass lesion could be evaluated.
CMD: Well maintained
Cortical thickness : About 8.4 mm at interpole cortex.
PC system : Not dilated

USG OF WHOLE ABDOMEN 3D/4D
U. BLADDER :
Well filled with regular in outline. Wall thickness is within normal limit.
No echogenic structure is seen within.
UTERUS :
Uterus is atrophied in size (normal for her age), measures about length- 6.7 cm x breadth- 3.1 cm x AP- 3.0 cm.
Myometrial echotexture appears normal. Endometrial lining is within normal limit.
Cervix appears normal.
ADNEXAE :
Both the adnexal region appears normal.
CUL-DE-SAC : No collection is seen in cul-de-sac.
OTHERS :
No free fluid or mass lesion seen in the abdomino pelvic cavity.
No evidence of enlarged lymphnodes seen.
No pleural effusion is seen.
Retroperitoneal space and visible bowel loops appears normal.
IMPRESSION :
Fatty change in liver (Grade I) without any focal lesion.
No significant abdomino-pelvic lymphadenopathy or Ascites.
Recommendation : LFT correlation for further evaluation.
*Please bring the report during follow up USG.
