Check Inlet Water Pressure & Flow Rate – Ensure adequate water
supply
Monitor RO Plant Pressure Gauges – Look for abnormal pressure
variations
Check Pump & Motor Operations – Listen for unusual noises or
vibrations.

Inspect Pre-Filters & Carbon Filters – Ensure they are not clogged.
Check for Any Leaks – Inspect pipes, joints, and fittings.
Measure TDS of Raw & RO Water – Ensure TDS levels are within
acceptable limits.
Check the Reject Water Flow – Ensure proper rejection ratio is
maintained.
Ensure Proper CIP (Cleaning in Place) Flow – If applicable, confirm CIP
readiness.
Task Description Week1

Clean Pre-Filters & Carbon Filters – Flush or replace if needed.

Inspect Membrane Housing & Fittings – Check for leaks or
damage
Check and Tighten Electrical Connections – Avoid loose wiring
issues.
Flush the System with Fresh Water – Prevent biofouling and
scaling
Check pH Levels of Inlet & RO Water – Should be within the
required range.
Week2 Week3 Week4
Replace Pre-Filters if Required – Change if pressure drop is significant.

Inspect and Clean the Dosing Pump – Check for proper chemical dosing.

Test High-Pressure Pump Performance – Ensure proper pressure and flow.

Check the RO Membrane Performance – Look for scaling, fouling, or salt
rejection efficiency.
Inspect and Clean Storage Tanks – Prevent bacterial growth and
contamination.
Perform Chemical Cleaning (CIP) of RO Membranes – If required based on
performance drop.

Inspect & Service High-Pressure Pump – Check bearings, seals, and lubrication.

Test Water Hardness & Scaling Indicators – Adjust anti-scalant dosing if needed.
Inspect and Replace Any Worn-Out Gaskets & Seals – Prevent leaks.
Replace RO Membranes if Required – Based on TDS rejection
performance.
Overhaul High-Pressure Pump – Check motor, shaft
alignment, and impeller condition.
Inspect Electrical Panel & Control System – Ensure safety
and proper functioning.
Calibrate Sensors & Meters – TDS meters, flow meters, and
pressure gauges
Review System Efficiency & Water Recovery Rate – Optimize
plant operation.
