natin makikita yung kagandahan sa isang bagay na ayaw natin. asically, when we say bias it is the one
sided opinion of a person that is affected by feelings, preferences, belief and so on.
An example of Bias is what you have said in our activity, nging bias kayo dahil one sided yung sinabi ninyo
na you only have a positive comment on what you have chosen. On the onther hand, wala akayong
masyadong nasabi sa hindi ninyo pinili because you dont prefer it.

kung bias ang isang author?
Nowadays, because of technology and social media, dissemination of information is free, that is why
maraming mga miseleading information na makikita which is pasok na dito ang pagiging bias ng isang
author or writer, therefore, para hindi tayo ma mislead is we have to identify the bias
Next, we have five ways of recognizing bias in a text. For us to find out if bias ba ung binabasa natin,
kailangan ito yung tingnan natin, meaning to say, ito yung mga evidence na pwede natin ipakita or
tingnan para masabi natin na bias ang binabasa mo or naririnig mo.
first, look for loaded words,when we say loaded words ito yung mga words na ginamit ni author and if
we are going dig deeper is doon natin makikita na nakapaloob doon yung emotin ni author either
positive or negative.

second, watch out for stereotype, are you familiar with words stereotype? we are going to analyze how
does the author describe or label a person or things. Take note Stereotype is ito yung naka fixed na
perception or paniniwala natin sa mga bagay or tao so meaning to say kung paano gi describe ni author
ang isang tao or bagay sis naka based sa paniniwala niya. In addition, stereotype is more like exaggerated
way of describing. For example, ano yung paniniwala Ninyo sa Israel?

what do you mean by generalization?
Yes, kapag ang author is hindi siya specific sa sinasabi niya or kaya nilalahat yung sinasabi niya is a sign of
bias. Inshort, you are claiming na kung ano yung sinasabi mo is katulad din siya sa ibang tao.
exactly, this is a generalization or vague kasi the author is not clear kung ano ba yung ibang falvor na
sinasabi niya basta ang goal lang niya is ma connive yung reader na marami talagang flavor si Candy.

it means that kapag ang author, So mapapansin natin toh when the author is comparing two or more
ideas, masasabi natin kung one sided siya if naka focus lang siya isang bagay.
