Part 1: Reading: Read the text carefully then do the activities.
Once upon a time, there lived in a small village in Africa, a lion that
enjoyed at high respect among the inhabitants. Every body called it [Link] moved
freely through the space and never attacked the cows and the oxen that the
farmers raised. In return, nobody tried to chase it because this king of the forest
kept off the area from all the wild beasts living near there.(§1)
Peace and security ruled there during many years until Kwito unable to
resist hunger because of the absence of preys in the forest. He was obliged to kill
an old ox and feed on it .when the news heard, the inhabitants decided to catch the
killer, but the lion disappeared from the place.(§2)
Few weeks passed, a dangerous monsters appeared around the village
and fear took hold every one because the knew that there was no way to defend
themselves and their animals (§3)
Problems happened till the arrive of Kwito with a group of other lions to
rescue the peasants from that monsters which running back far to the woods.
