Job Title: Math Annotator/ Math Expert
1. Scope of position
The primary objective of the annotators/ experts is to review various content which could
be Audio, video, text, photos, and pass their individual judgements/decisions, restricted
within the options being provided as per the task guidelines to facilitate project objectives
of machine learning.
2. Skills/qualifications required
● Language Proficiency: Written and Verbal expertise in the specific language/
field being selected for. Minimum B1 level of English capabilities (to
understand the task guidelines and be able to communicate).
● Domain Knowledge: Master of Mathematics/applied mathematics/Statistics
degree or any equivalent, Ph.D in Mathematics having the knowledge of
advanced mathematical concepts. Able to solve problems related to the
following areas (including basic mathematics such Maths, Algebra,
Geometry, Statistics and Calculus) . 2+ years of experience in Teaching in
College/University/institute is compulsory and 5+ years of experience will be
preferable.

● Ordinary and Partial differential equation
● Basic and transformational two and three-dimensional geometry
● Multivariable calculus
● Discrete Mathematics
● Linear Algebra and Vector spaces
● Abstract Algebra
● Basic Number theory
● Optimization methods
● Statistical modelling
● Statistical distributions and hypothesis testing
● Regression Analysis
● Must have a good knowledge of the Math domain. Must demonstrate strong
knowledge in Algebra, Elementary Math, Geometry, Calculus and Statistics.
● Must have at least 2 years of experience in Mathematics/Applied
Mathematics
● Sufficient knowledge of LaTeX code.
● Commitment to work on time-sensitive projects.
● Computer Skill: Basic level computer handling skills along with a minimum
typing speed of 45 Words per minute.
● Prior experience in Math marketplace/ experience working on advance/
complex maths problem solving would be an added advantage
● Experience in any annotation tool would be an advantage
● Strong sense of logical reasoning with decision making.
● Should have the ability to multitask and be flexible to work on rotational shifts.
2. Key responsibilities
● Review advanced Maths problems and solutions for accuracy and be able to
provide a correct solution if the provided response is not correct.
● Review advanced Maths problems and write step-by-step solutions.
● Ability to understand Math latex and able to work on sheet based tasks.
● To review/identify various contents which could be text, photos, and pass
their individual judgements/decisions restricted within the options being
provided as per task guidelines.
● Learn client unique platform language and be able to replicate these
platform specific languages on annotation tasks where applicable to ensure
appropriate annotations are captured for seamless machine learning
● Do Calibrations session within Team, with other location or even with client
as per instruction from Command Center.
● To coordinate with other team members for sharing best practice.
● Work independently and within a team
● Communicate well with internal and external contacts as per requirement.
● Manage multiple assignments simultaneously without any / minimal guidance
or help from seniors or peers team members
● All KPI related tasks must be followed & adhered to avoid business impact
● Maintain confidentiality for all process related work and other office related
critical details
● Any additional ad hoc tasks that may contribute to a better service to the
client or improvement to the KPI
