Development (ICPD), and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the areas of maternal health, access to education, re

Different national authorities and international organizations may employ different methodologies in gathering, extrapolating or

Notes on specific indicators

Maternal mortality ratio. This indicator presents the number of maternal deaths during a given time period per 100,000 live bir
(MMEIG) using data from vital registration systems, household surveys and population censuses. Estimates and methodologies
