2. Course Description: A detailed evaluation of the law on the Rules of Court on Evidence, as amended, including pertinent special laws, administrative
circulars, and Supreme Court decisions.

3. Institutionalized Learning Outcomes:


1. Knowledge: The CTCeans know and understand the laws, memorize provisions with critical and analytical thinking.
2. Skills: The CTCeans display an appreciation for education and demonstrate the learning gained both in school and
community.
3. Discipline: The CTCeans interpret the values that can be derived from studying the rules and exercise proper professional and
ethical responsibilities.

4. Course Learning Outcomes:
At the conclusion of the course, it is intended that the given instructional objectives shall have been attained. The students can:

CLO1: Exhibit a clear and in depth understanding of Rules on Evidence in preparation for the board exam and practice of profession as police
officer.
CLO2: Analyze the practical and policy implications of current and proposed statutes, regulations, and rulings, essential for the practice of the
profession.
CLO3: Assess client concerns in translating them into a responsive legal arguments and strategies.

6. Course Policy

 Attendance will be checked by the instructor and class beadle every meeting
 The grace period for late comers would be 15 minutes. Beyond that, the student will be considered absent.
 Three instances of tardiness is equivalent to one absent.
 If a student is scheduled to deliver an oral presentation but failed to come on time, the class will not wait for that student. In that case, such student will lose his/her chance
to do his/her presentation unless he/she made prior arrangement or notice regarding the absence or tardiness.
 Projects and paperwork must be strictly submitted as scheduled.
 Failure to submit them on time would result to the forfeiture of the student’s right to submit the same as it would no longer be accepted, and it would consequently amount
to a failing grade in the concerned project.
 A student who failed to take a periodical examination will be given a chance to take a special examination. However, after the lapse of the special examination period and
the student still failed to take the exams, he/she would be given a grade of 40.
