INTERNSHIP REPORT:
During My First Month of Internship, I have explored the District and
Session Court and Chamber. I have aided Sir in various civil matters
and in carrying out several legal
Client Meeting Session: Here is what I saw from a client counselling
session. The client received a legal notice for divorce from his wife.
The grounds that his wife said was dowry harassment. The client
has affirmed that he never asked his wife for dowry. The legal notice
extends to the client and his parents as well. The client said that his
parents have never lived with them after marriage to harass his wife
for dowry. The client said that his wife had married him during her
3rd year of MBBS. The client had also agreed to her further studies.
Legal advice given: As sir was a good mediator first, he asked the
client to have a family meeting with his wife. Ask the wife to take
back criminal charges against his family. If the matters do not
settle, he was recommended to arrange with the wife and apply for
a mutual divorce. It was also advised to the client to file for
anticipatory bail for the client and his parents to avoid criminal
proceedings thereof. From the above session I have seen that
before any legal proceedings, the parties must try solving the
problem within. This is important to reduce the burden on the courts
for unnecessary issues. Further, I also seen that every case has two
different sides of the same story. As a lawyer, it is not your job to
find which side of the story is true, and the only job is to help your
client from his side of the story.
In my first month I explored the District and Session Court and
Chamber. I have gone through the mail about the meeting, and I was
assigned to see the proceedings during examination- in chief, cross
examination and final argument. I have supported the lawyers that
come into the office and program, sitting in meetings and
appointments and offering required aid. I have read about any
suggested law-related material for my own benefit.
In my Second month I have gone through court continuing
Furthermore I was assigned legal research
It took me the entire day to research this topic in depth. This legal
research topic required in-depth study and extensive research to
find the settled position of the law on this point.
After a lot of research and reading, I found a few judgments on this
issue which unambiguously revealed the settled position on this
legal point.
In my Third month I have done the research on the assigned case
and prepared a case summary and attended court hearings of the
same case. And I have researched on the judgments that are related
to the fact of the cases
I have explored the District and Session Court and Chamber. I have
gone through the mail about meeting, and I was assigned to see the
proceedings during examination- in chief, cross examination and
final argument. I have supported the lawyers that come into the
office and program, sitting in meetings and appointments and
offering required aid. I have read about any suggested law-related
material for my own benefit.
I have gone ahead with genuinely was quite possibly the most
productive learning’s, I have gone through court proceedings and
learnt the meaning of special leave petition along with the fact of the
case and started working on the topics given to me. Sir introduced
the equivalent perfectly.
The main constituents of the report include details of my court room
experience, and the research and drafting work that was undertaken
by me during this said period
I attended a client meeting; the matter involved was that of civil
defamation. As per the facts, our client was an ex-employee of the
company and owing to the poor working conditions and non-
payment of prompt salary, she had resigned from the company.
Further, she says that she was never paid the lump sum that was
due to be paid to her by the company. And she tried to put her
request through various people, even the director, yet no one
acknowledged her request. Further, while looking for a solution, the
client claimed that she came across many criticisms of the
company on famous job sites and LinkedIn. Thus, she decided to
collect similar victims like her and take joint action against the
company. In pursuance of this, she had made a public statement on
LinkedIn, in pursuance of which the company made allegations of
defamation and decided to take legal action against the client. At
present, the above-mentioned client has approached sir with a legal
notice that she had been served by the company. Following this, sir
instructed me and my fellow intern to jointly work on drafting a reply
to the legal notice, having finished this task, we resumed our
drafting of written statement for the trademark infringement case
Overall Experience:
This internship was a radical new ordeal as I got the chance to learn
practical and in addition practical parts of the field of law. I likewise
learnt the use of practical information in a reasonable
circumstance. I might likewise want to offer my thanks to Adv.
Pushkar Yadav and his partners for giving me such a wonderful
experience. Learning from the best makes you the best.
• I got the opportunity to see different angles associated with legal
counselling. I saw how precisely they are handled and treated. The
way in which the new customers are given cure, and the old ones
are guaranteed and furthermore proved the following stage with all
the certainty and conviction as a legal advisor bears the obligation
of his customer and his future.
• I can certainly presume that it was without a doubt a superb
encounter and a learning one as well. I would consider it an
incredible chance to have the option to assistant at a high court and
get familiar with a great deal for all intents and purposes. Learning
these essential terms and angles would help me later and would
give me a chance to adapt better.
• Although this internship was not like the ones before, but I still
managed to learn a great deal of new things, Later I would still do
some more internships because I still feel there is a need for that,
but right now I will focus on some new areas I can do better at
