SUBJECT: END OF FIRST SEMESTER NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents,

By God’s grace, we have come this far in the 2024/2025 academic session, and for that, we remain
grateful. We sincerely appreciate our parents and guardians for their unwavering support,
cooperation, and commitment. The dedication of our students to various academic and
extracurricular activities has been commendable. However, while many have upheld the values
of the institution, a few have required guidance and corrective measures, which have been duly
administered. We trust that this holiday would be a period of reflection, bringing renewed focus
and discipline as we move forward.

Closure

All examinations will officially conclude on Friday, 28th February 2025. Students are required to
vacate the campus not later than 2:00 PM on Saturday, 1st March 2025. Students are expected
to sign off at the security unit.

Resumption

The university scheduled to resume on Friday, 4th April 2025. The 72 hour resumption policy will
be enforced, meaning all students (on and off campus) must complete their resumption process
by 12 midnight on 6th April 2025 to avoid sanctions.

Fees

To gain access to the campus, students must ensure that they have paid the 40% outstanding of
their fees, along with all other charges and fines. In view of the recent economic situation there is
a review of our fee structure. PLEASE REFER TO THE NEW FEE SCHEDULE ATTACHED and
make payments accordingly.
Academic Activities

Academic activities will commence on Monday 7th April, 2025 with a Solemn Assembly by 9: am.
Please note that attendance to every activity in school is mandatory. Registration on the portal
and faculties will follow. Every student is expected to register on the school portal with the first
semester results and evidence of fee payment. This exercise will last for 2 weeks. Portal closes
by 12midnight of 28th April. Registration in the faculties and departments as well as submission
of files will run concurrently. Lectures will commence on 14th April, 2025.

Weather Advice

The second semester coincides with the rainy season, which brings colder weather conditions to
our campus. Students are strongly advised to bring warm clothing to stay comfortable during this
period.

5 New Academic Programmes

We are pleased to inform our students and parent of the NUC s approval for the commencement
of the following programmes:

 Pharmacy
 Radiography
 Software engineering
 Cyber security
 Data Science with effect from 2024/2025 Academic

Matriculation Ceremony

The 2024/2025 Matriculation Ceremony is scheduled to take place in 16th April, 2025. Further
details will be communicated in due course.

Final Year Students – Project & Convocation

Final-year students are required to pay a Project Fee of N20,000 and Convocation Fee of
60,000. Payments should be made promptly to avoid any last-minute inconveniences. Payment
should be made into:

Conclusion
