Final Essay

The document discusses the effectiveness of learning foreign languages at primary versus secondary school levels, arguing that early language acquisition leads to more native-like pronunciation and fluency due to children's brain plasticity. It highlights the cognitive advantages of young learners, such as better mimicry of accents and lower inhibitions, while acknowledging that secondary school students possess more developed cognitive abilities for understanding complex grammar. Ultimately, the essay concludes that early language education is significantly more effective for achieving native-like language production and fostering global communication.

Wich one is more effective to learn foreign language in earlier age (primary level) vs at
secondary level to get native like production

We know now is that current era is growing. In terms of culture, politics, and social and many
others. Automatically we must also be able to quickly adapt to the development of this
increasingly advanced era. And usually foreign language learning starts at two levels of
schooling- primary and secondary level. One of the most debated questions is whether it is
more effective to begin learning a foreign language at an earlier age, such as in primary
school, or later, during secondary school.

As we know that Pronunciation challenges are one of that’s problem we know like adults
may struggle with phonetics because their brains are more used to recognizing sound from
their native language. So, we will look at these issues wich is better to study foreign language
in primary school or secondary school.

Although both stages have their own advantages, language acquisition at the initial stage of
learning at elementary school contributes to the formation of nearly native-like variety. One of
the reasons that support early language learning the fact Children's brains at an early age are
in a very plastic state, which means they are more adaptable and absorb information,
including language.

Studies show that if we learn at young ages are better at mimicking native speakers accent
and phonetic. Because on of the reason younger children are less to feel embarrassed when
learn new language. Example because a younger child who is exposed to foreign language is
much more likely to speak without noticeable accent to compared to someone who started
learning at older ages.

In 2002, Barcelona Council of Europe called for language learning at an early age. “Teaching
at least two foreign language from an early age.” To improve mastery in education. Since
then, at least two-thirds of the education systems that have research data emphasize lowering
the age of children starting to learn foreign languages.

Young children have certain cognitive advantages associated with thei age, such a higher
brain plasticity, this also supported by their different learning methods with adolescents.
Younger children learn by implicitly, through interaction songs, and games. As we know
younger children also sometimes have fewer inhibitions, that’s why they become driven by
the desire to communication and ask question at the end.

On the other hand, if children start learning during secondary school, it is often difficult to
obtain proper pronunciation or fluency like native speakers because it has been mixed with
other languages and lessons, so the brain is not too focused and fast in learning the language.
And they are still need process to digest and more memorize the new language.
But ofcourse, learning foreign at seconday school also not the bad choices, adults have more

thingking . flexibility of learning and also enebles on to store the learned language in the head
foor a very long time and they will never forget it.

The secondary school students can also performs task with ability to comprehend complex
language and linguistic features: however these students poor skills with imitating native like
pronunciation support to need for FLP early. In order to facilitate the rights of
multilingualisme and cultural respect the students should learm from primary schools level
possible.

Athough it is not wholly unattainable to develop native like fluency at any age, the best
approach and in some sense the fastest and most efficient, is at an early age, particularly in
elementary school. Furthermore, the teaching method that is used in primary school which is
the use of language and the introduction of culture in context-also prepares learners well for
learning of a foreign language.

Learning foreign language at primary scholl is significantly more effective for achieving
natice like production, superior pronunciation ability and natural acquisition processes.

implicitly. Investing in earlylanguage education not only improves fluency but also fosters
global communication. Both have pluses and minus but after we discussion and reset we
