Read the information given about ‘Life cycle of a Spider.’ Plan your explanation text, and write
out your final version neatly and creatively.
There are more than 50,000
species of spiders found all over the
world!
Spiders are arachnids, meaning they
have eight legs and two main body
parts.
A spider’s egg sac is a silk case that
protects its eggs until they hatch.
Some mother spiders carry the egg
sac, while others hide it in their web
or a safe place.
Most spiders spin silk webs to catch
their prey, while others hunt or trap
insects in unique ways.
Spiders play a crucial role in
controlling insect populations by
eating pests like mosquitoes and
flies
Some spiders, like jumping spiders,
have excellent vision and can leap
many times their body length to
catch prey.
