Roles and Responsibilities:
Set the parameters for Incoming inspection (setup control plan in SAP, Maintain Dop & inspection protocol list)
Root cause analysis of the defects & focus on prevents its reoccurrence also risk categorization of supplier based on
part sensitivity study.
Failure mode effective analysis of the newly developed component to be used on assembly line.
Collaborating with suppliers to ensure understanding and compliance with quality assurance requirements.
Establishing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance (SIR, SFR & ScNcc).
Regularly reviewing and analyzing supplier performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and
potential risks.
Supplier Evaluation and selection based on predefined criteria, including quality system, capabilities, performance
history, collaborating with CFT to make informed decisions regarding supplier selection.
Planning, conducting, and managing supplier audits or assessments to evaluate adherence to quality management
systems, processes, and standards.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains within the supply chain.
Collaborating with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions and drive continuous improvement
initiatives.
Assessing and mitigating risks associated with suppliers, such as quality issues, delivery delays, capacity constraints,
or regulatory non-compliance. Developing contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as Procurement, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance,
to ensure alignment and collaboration on supplier quality-related matters. Participating in supplier performance
reviews and supplier development initiatives.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, documentation, and reports related to supplier quality management
activities. Providing regular reports and updates to management regarding supplier performance, issues, and
improvement initiatives.
Technical Competence:
-Drafting Software: CATIA V5, Auto CAD, ANSYS.
-Other Software: Team Centre, SAP QM module, MV - Scan, M- Tool, Power BI and Microsoft Excel, word etc.
