“NGUYEN TIEN MINH BADMINTON PLAYER”

Nguyen Tien Minh is a badminton player. He is one of Vietnam’s top sports players. He won
gold medals in badminton competition in several countries, including Vietnam.
Nguyen Tien Minh was born in Ho Chi Minh city, on February 12th 1983. When he was ten
years old, his father asked him to start playing badminton to get some exercise. At first,
badminton was just a hobby for him, and he played with other children who lived near him.
Minh was a very good badminton player. When he was in high school, he decided that he wanted
to play badminton in competitions.
He practiced very hard. When he was nineteen years old, he became the best badminton player in
Vietnam. He started playing games outside of Vietnam and won the International Malaysia Open
Tournament in 2004.
Since winning his first tournament, Minh has taken the gold medal in tournaments in the USA,
Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, China and Viet Nam. He says he want to win a World Super series
title before he finishes playing badminton.
