underlying personality of the native the planet will deal with that planet in the way that planets characteristics

How do I find the Dasha and bhukti predictions?

 All this is about timing of events and requires great acumen , experience and skills.
 Before predicting and going into Dasa , Antar dasha ( Bhukti ) one must have very sound knowledge of all
astrological principles and rules along with exceptions so that it's application on the above 2 complex issues
becomes fairly realistic .Even well known astrologers have sometimes missed the mark .
 I give some examples below to help you know the concepts of Dasha.
 1 In the 1st example — In Jupiter Mahadasa and Mercury antardasha if these 2 planets are related to each
other and well placed in tbe houses then during this period the native may fare extremely well in studies /
Profession and be eligible for study abroad / have foreign collaborations.
 2. In the 2nd example - In Rahu Mahadasa and Saturn antardasha if these 2 planets are related to each other
and badly placed in the houses then during this period the native may lose his job , be hospitalized and get
into debts and enmity.
 3 . In the 3rd example — If the 10th lord is related to any of the Trikona lords then very auspicious results are
seen in their Dasha / Antardasha.
 4. In the 4th example - In the Dasha of an auspicious planet the antardasha of a unrelated auspicious planet
gives evil results.
 5. In the 5th example- In the Dasha of a well placed planet in the 7th house or aspecting the 7th or owning the
7th house there are very good chances of marriage.
 6. In the 6th example- In Mercury Mahadasa and Moon antardasha if these 2 planets are related to each other
and are badly placed in the houses then the native will experience depression, mental stress , anxiety and
negative emotions.
 7. In the 7th example- In Sun Dasa and Jupiter Antardasha if these 2 planets are related and well placed in

 14. A Kendra lord produces auspicious results in his dasha and in a Trikona lords Bhukti if both are related and
vice versa.
 15. Yoga result happen in the Dasha of a Yogakaraka planet and in the Bhukti of another related Yogakaraka

 16 In the dasa of a maraka planet a Bhukti of related maraka planet is dreadful ; the Bhukti of a related

 17. In the Dasa of an inauspicious planet the Bhukti of a related maraka is adverse ; that of a related
auspicious planet is fairly good and that of a Yogakaraka planet is auspicious.
 18. If the auspicious planet are related to Yogakaraka planets then in the Dasha of auspicious planet the
Bhukti of Yogakaraka planet never produces Yogakaraka results. Note: If the Dasha is of auspicious planet and

 $$Trishadaya houses are 3rd , 6th and 11th houses . We know 3rd and 6th house is part of dushtanas. But

material prosperity also breeds evil qualities and is inauspicious for attaining Moksha. Acc to Sastras the
Trishadaya houses represent Kama , Krodha and Greed and are opposite to the important houses for spiritual

Observation / Interpretation:

Here’s to know which dasha and antardasha will be positive or negative (in your words good or bad?), I will summarize
below:
Mars dasha/Mars antardasha: Positive (10%) then weak to negative (90%).
Rahu dasha/Rahu antardasha: Negative to harsh.
Jupiter dasha/Jupiter antardasha: Weak and negative.
Saturn dasha/Saturn (retrograde*) antardasha: Contrary, negative results
Mercury dasha/Mercury antardasha: Hardships, losses, legal issues being an innocent bystander.
Ketu dasha/Ketu antardasha: Negative and inclination to asceticism.
Venus dasha/Venus antardasha: Positive and fruitful, awards, recognition, good success in everything.
Sun dasha/Sun antardasha: Negative, abandoned by relatives, increase of attachment to various emotional issues (eg.
children, assets and regrets).

Almost everyone of us knows about planet Rahu and Rahu Mahadasha. Rahu is a malefic or evil planet by nature. It
does harm when it is posited in the malefic house. This evil planet does not have a house. It bring result of the planets
where it places in the birth chart. For example; if the planet Rahu is posited in the house of Saturn, then it will bring the
result of Saturn.

You are fearful of Rahu Dasha as your astrologer has said it. Of course, he is correct. However, it is extremely
important to calculate all the aspect of Rahu. It can be extremely beneficial if it is well disposed of in the birth chart.

Let’s discuss the benefic and malefic effect of the Rahu during its administration period according to Vimshottari
system of calculation.

Rahu Mahadasha runs for 18 years in the life

Malefic Rahu Mahadasha

As I said Rahu is evil by nature. It becomes more evil when it is posited in a malefic house. It also brings very bad result
when it is afflicted by malefic planets such as Saturn, Mars and Sun. It can also bring bad result if it is posited in either
Scorpio or Sagittarius. The Scorpio and Sagittarius is the debilitated place of Rahu according to Sarvarth
Chintamani and Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra.

Rahu can also harm if it has created Shrapit Yoga in the chart by sitting with Saturn in any house. This can bring very
bad result by creating Grahan Dosha synonymously called Chandra Dosh. The planet Sun and Rahu also creates
Grahan Dosh by sitting in any house in the chart.

It can be harmful during its Mahadasha if has created Angarak yoga by sitting with Mars in any house.

planet Ketu is malefic by nature, it can be harmful in case the planet Ketu is wrongly placed in the natal chart.

During Ketu Mahadasha, it rules for 7 years in one’s life. Most of us are likely to experience the Mahadasha of Ketu
during our life span. The Mahadasha of Ketu could be either malefic or benefic depending upon the placement in the
