PURPOSE

The purpose of this assignment is to enhance learners’ knowledge about human personality.

PART I

QUESTION 1: REPORT WRITING (20%)


A 30-year-old individual, raised in a strict, authoritarian household, has recently experienced
a significant life change: a job promotion and relocation to a new city. Despite their
upbringing, they have developed a strong, independent personality.

You are required to answer all of the following questions with examples and literature
reviews from reputable sources:

1. Analyze how both nature and nurture may have contributed to the individual's
personality development in the given scenario.
2. Select two major personality theories (e.g., psychoanalytic, trait, social-cognitive,
humanistic) and explain how they might account for the individual's personality
development.
3. Discuss the strengths and limitations of each theory in explaining the individual's
personality.

QUESTION 2: POWERPOINT SLIDES AND VIDEO PRESENTATION (20%)
You are required to record your presentation on personality and gender differences in
global perspective. Organise your content into PowerPoint slides and deliver a presentation
on the topic. The presentation must be recorded within 15 minutes, and the video is
required to be uploaded in a separate video file (MPEG/mp4/etc.). Kindly test your video
recording before submission to avoid any technical glitches. The video presentation must
have the following criteria:
1. Introduction.
2. Content of discussion: The Influence of media and socialization on gender and
cultural identity.
3. Conclusion.
The video must consist of both the presenter's appearance and the slideshow. Please ensure
that the audio and video are clear and free of interruptions. You are expected to submit the
slides from your PowerPoint presentation and also the video presentation through the
platform that has been provided to you by the Assessment and Examination Division.

SOALAN 1: PENULISAN LAPORAN (20%)


Seorang individu berusia 30 tahun, dibesarkan dalam keluarga yang tegas dan
autoritarian, baru-baru ini mengalami perubahan hidup yang ketara: kenaikan pangkat
pekerjaan dan penempatan semula ke bandar baharu. Walaupun dibesarkan, mereka
telah membentuk personaliti yang kuat dan berdikari.

Anda dikehendaki menjawab semua soalan berikut dengan contoh dan ulasan literatur
daripada sumber yang bereputasi:

1. Analisa bagaimana kedua-dua sifat dan asuhan mungkin telah menyumbang


kepada perkembangan personaliti individu dalam senario yang diberikan.
2. Pilih dua teori personaliti utama (cth., psikoanalisis, trait, sosial-kognitif,
humanistik) dan terangkan bagaimana ia boleh menyumbang kepada
perkembangan personaliti individu.
3. Bincangkan kekuatan dan batasan setiap teori dalam menjelaskan personaliti

SOALAN 2: SLAID POWERPOINT DAN PENYAMPAIAN VIDEO (20%)

Anda dikehendaki merekodkan pembentangan anda tentang perbezaan personaliti dan


jantina dalam perspektif global. Susun kandungan anda ke dalam slaid PowerPoint dan
sampaikan pembentangan mengenai topik tersebut. Pembentangan mesti dirakam dalam
masa 15 minit dan video perlu dimuat naik dalam fail video yang berasingan
(MPEG/mp4/dll.). Sila uji rakaman video anda sebelum penyerahan untuk mengelakkan
sebarang gangguan teknikal. Persembahan video mesti mempunyai kriteria berikut:

1. Pengenalan.
2. Isi kandungan perbincangan: Pengaruh media dan sosialisasi terhadap jantina dan
identiti budaya.
