Module: Drug Education Lecture Evaluation
ACTIVITY 1: Watch the movie Anak and answer the following questions.
1. How do you feel as you watch the film? Explain your answer.
As I watched the film, I could feel the pain of both the mother and her children because, as a child of a
OFW, I know how difficult life can be when you are separated from the people you love, especially your
parents. I also understand how the mother feels in the movie because, in spite of all the sacrifices she
has made abroad, what her children show her is terrible. However, for me as an OFW son, there is really
nothing that can compare the presence of a parent.
2. What did you observe with the character who was addicted to drugs? Describe her character.
In my opinion, She appears to be rushing through everything, unconcerned with what might happen
to her as a result of his actions, highly argumentative, and unable to think rationally.
3. How do drugs affect the life of a person? Explain your answer.
Drugs can affect your body in different ways, and the effects associated with drugs can vary from
person to person. Drugs have short-term and long-term effects. These effects can be physical and
psychological. Drugs can impact the way you think, feel and act. Drug use can affect short- and long-
term health , including physical and mental health.
4. Why do you think you should be educated relative to the matters on the abuse of dangerous drugs?
Explain your answer.
Because illegal substances truly do harm life, even if you just search the results. Therefore, it is
crucial to inform and educate today’s youth about the negative impacts of using illegal substances. In
order to prevent the future of today’s youth from being destroyed, I hope that the education and
discipline of today’s youth can be continued. Thanks to the former PRRD president’s actions, the number
of people using illegal drugs has decreased and other youth are now more aware.
