I. Opening

The meeting was called to order at 10:50 AM by MAFC Vice Chairman Mr. Jesus V. David. The
meeting commenced with an opening prayer led by Mrs. Virginia Ceniza, followed by the
singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Ms. Maricel Alcantara. A roll call of
attendance was conducted by the MAFC Secretary, and a quorum was determined to be present.

II. Approval of Previous Minutes

The MAFC Secretary presented the minutes of the previous meeting held on September 11,
2024. After a brief review, Mrs. Richelda moved to approve the minutes, which was seconded by
Mr. Gauven F. Zepida. The motion was unanimously approved.

III. Committee Reports

1. Committee on Rice
Reported by: Ms. Gemma C. Batiancila
-Affected Areas: 2 barangays
-Affected Farmers: 24
-Partially Damaged Area: 10.5 hectares
-Estimated Cost of Damage: 131,000

2. Committee on Youth
Reported by: Ms. Laica Marie Tolosa
-Due to budget constraints for feeding their chickens, the committee members agreed to divide
the remaining chickens and nets among themselves for individual care.

3. Committee on Livestock
Reported by: Ms. Ivy A. Auman
-Affected Barangays: 6
-Affected Hog Raisers: 24
-Number of Livestock Affected: 27 (23 goats, 4 swine)
- Cost of Damage: 109,500.00

5. Committee on Corn
Virginia Ceniza inquired about the availability of corn seeds.

- Batiancila responded that there are currently no available corn seeds, but they are expecting a
purchase from the Corn Program in November 2024.

-Ian Del Rosario suggested that corn farmers should apply for validation of their areas before
receiving seeds.

6. Committee on Fisheries

-Affected Barangays: 7
-Affected Fisherfolks: 28
-Affected Fishpond Operators: 4
-Out of 32 fisherfolks, 15 are registered with RSBSA.
-Estimated Cost of Damage: 4,098,540.00

IV. Other Matters

1. Monitoring of CIS and Farm Equipment:

A monitoring activity is scheduled for November 20, 2024, to assess the implementation of the
Communal Irrigation System in Brgy. Calpi and Pob. 2, including the status of farm machinery
and equipment.

2. Consecutive Absence:
A written notice letter will be sent to Mr. Rolin C. Buhat regarding his three consecutive
absences, which may result in his removal from the MAFC membership.

V. Adjournment
Mrs. Richelda Mahinay moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Virginia Ceniza. The motion
was unanimously approved.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:58 AM.
