JOB POSITION: PRODUCTION MANAGER
EXPERIENCE: 15 – 25 YEARS
QUALIFICATION: 15 YEARS WITH B.E OR ANY GRADUATION / 20 YEARS WITH DIPLOMA
1. Production Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Coordinate with the supply chain and inventory teams to ensure availability of materials for
production.
Monitor production processes to ensure deadlines are met.
2. Team Management:
Supervise and lead a team of production staff, operators, and technicians.
Organize shift schedules, manage labor resources, and optimize team performance.
Provide training and support to team members to ensure high levels of productivity and skill
development.
Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and ensure adherence to safety and operational
protocols.
3. Quality Control & Assurance:
Monitor and maintain the quality of manufactured filters according to industry standards
and company specifications.
Implement corrective actions if quality issues arise, ensuring minimal impact on production.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with environmental regulations.
4. Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and
improve product quality.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and other cost-reduction strategies.
Troubleshoot production issues and recommend solutions to enhance performance and
minimize downtime.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance:
Ensure a safe and clean working environment for all team members.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that employees follow proper safety
protocols.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
6. Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production output, materials usage, and any maintenance or
quality issues.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and key metrics
to senior management.
Ensure proper documentation for traceability and compliance with industry standards.
7. Budgeting & Resource Management:
Oversee production costs and ensure they align with budgetary targets.
Manage the procurement of raw materials and other necessary resources while maintaining
cost efficiency.
Ensure optimal use of production equipment, personnel, and materials.
8. Collaboration & Communication:
Coordinate with other departments such as R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Quality Control to
ensure product requirements are met.
Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues, resource needs, or changes
in production schedules.
