The MRI report of the left knee indicates a complete ACL tear and possible mild partial tearing of the PCL, along with moderate to severe joint effusion. All menisci, ligaments, and fat pads are intact, but there are signs of bone contusion in the tibial plateau and fibular head, as well as a muscular strain in the popliteal muscle. The report concludes that the articular cartilages and periarticular soft tissues are normal.

LEFT KNEE MRI

1.5 Tesla MR System
Multislice, multiplanar and multisequence MR images findings:
- Complete ACL tearing is noted.
- Abnormal signal intensity within proximal PCL fibers could be suggestive
of mild partial tearing also is seen.
- Moderate to severe joint effusion is noted.
- Medial meniscus: intact
- Lateral meniscus: intact
- MCL: intact
- LCL: intact
- Iliotibial band: intact
- Suprapatellar and infrapatellar fat pads: intact
- Medial and lateral retinaculum: intact
- Patellar ligament, quadriceps tendon: normal
- Bones and marrow: abnormal bone marrow signal intensity in
posterolateral aspect of tibial plateau and also fibular head are seen
suggestive of bone contusion.
- Linear abnormal signal intensity within popliteal muscle fibers is seen
suggestive of muscular strain.
- Articular cartilages: normal
- Periarticular soft tissues: normal
