➢ Built-up sections are made from hot rolled plates conforming to American
Society for testing & Materials ASTM A-572 Gr50 (345 MPa)/Fe50 steel. The
plates are joined together on one side of the web by a continuous automatic
submerged arc welding process to produce the section required

4. Steel Work Finish
Primary Steel
All primary steel members will be cleaned, painted with one coat of red oxide Primer
at Shop & two coat of synthetic enamel paint.
Secondary Steel
Roof Purlins, Wall Girts and Eave Struts shall be 120 GSM cold formed sections. All
other secondary steel members (Clips, Brace Rod, Sag Rods, Flange Angle and other
small misc. items) will be cleaned and painted 1 coat of red oxide Primer at Shop &
two coat of synthetic enamel paint.

Seller Scope of Work
a) Unloading of all supplied materials at job site from containers/trailers
immediately upon the arrival of goods at site. Cleaning the empty container (if
applicable) and sending it back.
b) Storing of all DPS (P) LTD. supplied material at job site.
c) Supply of skilled manpower.
d) Supply of tools and equipment for the erection works.
e) Erection of primary, secondary steel framing and paneling.
f) Touch-up of paint due to erection damage.
g) Cleaning-up of site on work completion.
h) Guide the Customer or his Civil Contractor for the purpose of proper
understanding and interpretation of Anchor Bolt layout drawing. DPS (P)
LTD. recommends the aligning and positioning of anchor bolts using digital
Theodolite otherwise called "Total Station" (to be arranged by the customer)
as per the "Issued for Construction" anchor bolt drawing. However any other
method as provided by Customer for alignment check is also acceptable as
long as it is within the allowable tolerance limits. The guidance from DPS (P)

LTD. does not absolve the Civil Contractor from his responsibility for
accuracy in setting the Anchor Bolt. Any rework required due to misplacement
of anchor bolts or faulty concrete shall be the responsibility of the Customer or
his Civil Contractor. DPS (P) LTD. is not responsible for the misplacement of
Anchor Bolts if any at site even after providing the adequate guidance to the
responsible staff at site.
Buyer Scope of Work
a) Set Anchor Bolts in position and level in accordance with the Anchor Bolt
layout drawings prior to the arrival of DPS (P) LTD. erection team on site.
The pre-setting activities such as template preparation, shuttering box
preparation and support to the template and boxes etc., should have been over
well ahead of time. (Ensure that the top levels of shuttering box are same in
order to avoid excessive pouring of concrete, which lead to different
height of pedestals). Finished top level of the pedestal shall be as per the
anchor bolt setting drawing and for any height variation civil contractor
customer has to provide the required additional shim plates (Not included
in also acceptable as long as it is within the allowable tolerance limits. The
guidance from DPS (P) LTD. does not absolve the Civil Contractor from his
responsibility for accuracy in setting the Anchor Bolt. Any rework required
due to misplacement of anchor bolts or faulty concrete shall be the
responsibility of the Customer or his Civil Contractor. DPS (P) LTD. is not
responsible for the misplacement of Anchor Bolts if any at site even after
providing the adequate guidance to the responsible staff at site.
b) Keep Anchor bolt threads clean and free from concrete.
c) Anchor bolts set in place shall have appropriate nuts and washers installed on
clean threads.
d) Provide a clear, leveled, compacted and unobstructed ground, with suitable
access for trucks and erection equipment. A 6-m wide access shall be
provided around each building for storage, setting out and erection of the
building. The ground of all working areas shall be suitably compacted for the
use of forklifts and/or cranes.
e) To protect the material stored at site against fire, weather, theft, misuse,
or any other act of vandalism.
f) To provide the covered space for the delicate material like, insulation, wire
mesh, turbo vents etc.
g) Provide Electricity free of cost (3ph, 50Hz power supply) at proximity to
building location.
h) Supply water for general use and for drinking purpose of the erection crew at
site.

6. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a) Our Billing will be on the basis of actual dispatch weight. All weighment at
our weighbridge shall be considered final.
b) Warehousing charges applicable-" if material is not picked in 7 days from the
date of inspection call and or material finishing date @ 10/- per sqft per day.
c) However any change in excise duty or sales Tax or any other statutory
taxes/duties or introduction of any other new tax/duties at the time of dispatch
of pre-fabricated building, the same would have to be paid by client at actual
prior to shipment.
d) Any non-standard color / make (Yield, Strength) will be delivered as per
actual time committed by the manufacture.
e) The BOQ weight may marginally differ from actual weight because of
permissible positive (+) tolerance in steel plates and few other smaller reasons.
The Building or Project will be considered as VIRTUALLY COMPLETED, if
the client puts into commercial use/production.
The minor defects in the building should not be the reasons to non issue of
completion. Since we are liable for rectifying all defects all along the defect liability
period as per your order & Performance Bank Guarantee.
Entry Tax/ Octroi/ Other Local Levies & Taxes:
a. Entry tax/ Octroi/ Other Local Levies/taxes if any, should be borne by the
client
Other Terms & Conditions
a. DPS (P) LTD. shall not be responsible for the damage caused to the building
components by others.
b. Any deviation from above standard erection conditions shall be subject to
price & time review.
c. DPS (P) LTD. the right to subcontract part or its entire erection contract
to qualified registered contractors with ESI, PF and Service Tax registration,
DPS (P) LTD. will supervise the job to execute professionally and in
accordance with DPS (P) LTD. strict erection requirements.
d. In the event of stoppage of erection work at the site by the Customer,
demobilization and remobilization charges will be levied
e. Delays to erection due to reasons out of DPS (P) LTD. responsibility, which
result in idle time, shall be charged at following rates per shift:
Erection Engineer/Supervisor Rs 2000/-
Erector / Skilled worker Rs.800/-
Crane with operator Rs 20000/-
Forklift with operator Rs 7000/-

f. The erection period starts from handing over of site to DPS (P) LTD.
with proper condition as stipulated above (or) arrival date of materials
provided the site is handed over already.
g. Any changes during the progress of erection should be communicated to DPS
(P) LTD. Head Office in writing through a change order. DPS (P) LTD.
erection team at site cannot undertake the changes directly.
h. Opening condition of the building is considered is as per design.
i. In Adequacy of Civil Design (footing, pedestal, plinth beam, brickwork, piles
etc.) and its workmanship is under civil contractor and not in our scope.
j. Any alteration in the building geometry is strictly prohibited.
k. Periodic maintenance as per industry practice is suggested.
l. Connectivity from PEB structure or Connectivity to the PEB structure is
permitted only with due consideration and approval from our design team.
m. Structural integrity and fracture within plate should be responsibility of
plate/coil suppliers.
7. Site Painting
Only touch-up paint will be applied at site to correct the damage occurred to paint
film during the transportation & erection.
Site Paint will be applied to erection.
8. Supply Delivery Period
Our current Delivery Period is around 8-10 weeks from the latest date of receipt and
acceptance of the following in DPS (P) LTD. India:
1. Signed contract (Any change must be noted and initialed by both parties)
2. Final Change order
3. Down Payment
4. Acceptable letter of credit/Final accepted L/C amendment
5. Signed final "approved as noted" or approved as is' Approval Drawings
Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for Approval Drawings submittal.
Customer must return approval drawings to DPS (P) LTD. Head Office within 1 week
of receipt. Any delay in the return of the approval drawings back to DPS (P)
LTD. may result in a change to our price and delivery commitment.
Our current Site painting + Erection period is around 8-9 weeks after the shipment,
from latest the following:
Date of readiness of concrete footing with anchor bolt being cast, Receipt and
acceptance of mobilization payment in DPS (P) LTD. India.

9. Material adequacy and Storage at Job Site
Primer paints are meant to protect the steel during transportation and for a short
storage period at site exceed two weeks). DPS (P) LTD. is not responsible for any
signs of rust that might appear on the steel due to long storage periods at site.
10. Proposal Validity
This proposal is valid for 15 days from the above noted date. Any extension of
validity by DPS (P) LTD. must be in writing.
If the job (project) is not "Released for Production" within SIX weeks from the
date of entering this order at DPS (P) LTD. Head Office, it will be subject to
delivery change and price escalation if any.
"Released for Production" means that the Approval Drawings have been "Approved
as Is"/ "Approved as Noted" & returned by the buyer, the agreed payment terms have
been Fulfilled by the buyer and the job has been released for final engineering
production and fabrication at DPS (P) LTD..
That portion of this order that is not shipped within TWO Weeks from the date
of completion of fabrication at DPS (P) LTD. Factory due to a delay request
from the buyer will be subject to warehousing charges & repainting charges. The
warehousing charges will be applied at the rate of Rs. 100/MT/day. The
repainting charges will be charged as per the prevailing rates.
11. Changes and revision
Any change and/or revision to the above stated scope of supply may lead to a
variation in the price and the delivery period. A change must not hold payment for
work completed in the original contract.
12. Force Majeure
DPS (P) LTD. shall not be held accountable for delays in material dispatch or
delivery (after dispatch) resulting from circumstances outside its control,
such as strikes, acts of war, Revolution, riot or civil disturbance, trade sanction
or restrictions, occurrences of meteorological or geophysical nature, etc. to the
extent that these affect transport, steel, its suppliers and its Sub-contractors.

13. Cancellation of orders
1. In the event a customer cancels a signed contract, the higher of the following
cancellation charges will apply.
• 10% of the total contract amount.
• All actual charges incurred by DPS (P) LTD. (and its subcontractors /
suppliers) up to the time of receipt of the notice of cancellation.
2. Cancellation charges are due immediately upon the receipt by DPS (P) LTD. of
the customer's Notice of cancellation.
14. Assumptions, Deviations & Exclusions
Items and codes, which are not mentioned in this proposal, are not in DPS (P) LTD.

1. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that the specified loads are adequate
for the building use.
2. Painting system considered as per DPS (P) LTD. Standard painting.
3. Refer Section of our Technical offer for submission of Approval of Drawings /
Delivery and Erection schedule.
4. DPS (P) LTD. will provide the load data / Column Reactions based on which
the foundation will be designed by Purchaser. Design of Foundation is in
client's scope.
5. Gutters are designed as per standard.
6. Once Approval Drawing is approved and materials made ready in DPS (P)
LTD. factory, client has to secure 100% Supply payment before shipment of
material to the jobsite.
7. Erection and installation bills as per milestone to be paid by the client.
8. No Vetting charges for design are considered in the quote.
9. Connection of the RCC beams to our steel column is client
responsibility/scope.
15. Escalation
Our offer is based on present day rate of raw materials. Any of these items
affecting our Prices shall be to your accounts.

17. Conflicting Terms:
In the event of any conflict between the provisions in the main body of this
Agreement and Annexures, or other exhibits, the provisions in the main body of this
Agreement will prevail, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by the Parties.
