General Inspection
1 Drawing - SLD, DB Scheduling shall be Kept inside the DB Pocket.
2 No visible damage to impair safety.
3 Proper Tagging & Labelling
4 All live parts screened with an insulating plate or earthed metal.
5 Phase identification provided on the distribution board
6 All exposed metal parts effectively earthed.
All metal conduits, trunking, switch boxes and exposed metal parts effectively
7 earthed.
All non-armored cables susceptible to damage protected with steel conduit/
8 trunking. Bushing and rubber grommet, where necessary, provided
9 Conductor sized to suit the rating of the FUSE / MCB protecting the circuit.
All joints of metal conduits or trunking to be mechanically sound, electrically
10 continuous and protected against corrosion.
11 All exposed conductive parts effectively earthed.
12 Panel Door Earthing Shall be done.
T&C
13 DB Incoming Cable Tagging shall be done.
Insulation resistance of not less than 0.5 M ohm measured between
14 phases/neutral/ earth.
