ABSTRACT:-

It was my incredible pleasure to be a trainee at Digimedhub pharmacy store. During my internship, I

gained practical knowledge about drug procurement, storage, arrangement, dispensing, management
and proper counselling technique. Moreover, I learnt about purchasing policy, documentation, checking
expiry date, checking bills, reading prescriptions and managing thermolabile drugs. Most of the people
purchased vitamin supplements, anti-hypertensive drugs, anti- diabetic drugs, painkillers and antacids.
Store has drugs of many brands and least generic drugs, store has many vaccines many types of tablets
and capsules so many liquid preparation, suspension, emulsion, elixir, ophthalmic preparation,
nebulisers, inhalers, creams, syrup, cosmetics preparation, enema, vaginal preparation, parental
preparations, surgical items, powder preparation and patches etc. Drugs are kept in cupboards
according to their alphabetical order, so we can easily find out drugs by their name and it saves time for
both pharmacists as well as patients. Records of purchasing and dispensing of drugs were maintained
in computers by specific software .
