You and Kisaski ran to the elevator before the two could
realize you had le!.

"Phew," Kisaki panted.

"You need to hit the gym buddy," you joked, trying to hide
the fact that you were also out of breath.

"Watch it," he jokingly scolded.

The elevator eventually stopped at the top floor. "Let's go,"

Kisaki motioned for you to follow him.

"Wow," you said once again, in absolute shock. It really was

even better on the inside.

"It's nice right?" he chuckled, taking o" his blazer.

"It is. Whoever is your interior designer needs to come to

my apartment and make it look this nice," you giggled.

"So are you saying I can come to your place?" he

menacingly grinned. a

"Uh—who said that," you looked to the side.

"I decorated my apartment. I'll do it for you. For free.

Unless..." he trailed o". "...you feel like I deserve some kind
of reward."

"Pshh. In your dreams. Where is the co"ee pot?" you

anxiously scurried to the kitchen, hoping to avoid Kisaki's
piercing gaze.

"Running away from me beautiful? Do you like a good cat

and mouse game?" you could hear his loud footsteps from
anywhere in the apartment. a

"Fine. Let me," he lightly pushed you to the side to get the
simple ingredients.

"So, Tetta," you let his name roll o" your tongue ever so
sweetly. "What do you do for work?"

"Why do you want to know?" he asked, putting the co"ee

grounds in the paper to boil.

"Well, I can't marry an unsuccessful man. Who is going to

stay at home with the kids if we're both working our asses
o"?" simply implying that there is a future for you and
Kisaki hurt you to say, but you knew you had to keep up the
charade.

"Oh? So you do want to marry me?" he stopped what he

was doing to look at you. a
